Isabella bravely crouched down, getting closer to the alien corpse. She forced herself to hold her breath as she directed the flashlight's beam onto the horrifying, decaying body. The skin of the corpse had completely deteriorated, emitting an unbearable stench; however, what was even more bizarre was that the flesh seemed to be reconstructing itself with every passing moment. Those black Worms acted like builders within the body, constantly repairing the alien's flesh. Whenever a patch of skin completely rotted away, the Worms would swiftly fill the void, piecing it back together as if the line between life and death had become blurred. 0

Isabella's heart raced, her palms sweating from anxiety, yet she persisted in observing closely. The corpse had no heartbeat, no breath, devoid of any signs of life, but its body continued to writhe as if caught in some strange eternal cycle. She whispered, "These Worms... they are rebuilding the corpse... keeping it forever in a state between life and death." 0

Jonas stood nearby, his brow furrowed, his hand gripping the gun trembling slightly from tension. He muttered under his breath, "This is blasphemy... their existence is a desecration of life." His voice was filled with disgust; the scene before him challenged his fundamental understanding of how the world operated. These Black Worms seemed to distort the laws of nature; every second of writhing and repairing was a subversion of the order of life. 0

"This shouldn't exist in this world..." Jonas continued to murmur, his gaze reflecting shock and fear. His instincts screamed at him to destroy everything immediately, to put an end to this unnatural cycle once and for all. Yet the sight before him filled him with a profound sense of helplessness, as if he stood on the edge of an abyss, ready to be consumed by this dark force at any moment. 0

Isabella's fingers lightly touched the corpse, feeling the subtle vibrations of the Worms squirming beneath the skin. This experience overwhelmed her with a mix of shock and terror; she knew she was close to uncovering the truth but also understood that this truth could very well be a nightmare too heavy for humanity to bear. "We must figure this all out..." she said softly, her tone laced with an uncontainable determination. 0

"We shouldn't stay here any longer, Isabella; everything here is already rotten." Jonas's voice was low and hoarse; deep inside him lay an indescribable fear and aversion towards these creatures and what was happening before them. However, Isabella's gaze remained resolute; she knew that whatever these Worms were, the secrets behind them had to be unveiled. 0

Isabella fixed her eyes on the decaying alien body while her mind was pierced by an evil voice echoing in her thoughts. The voices were sharp and mocking, stabbing into her consciousness like countless needles: "Do you think this is useful? Soon enough, your brain will be completely occupied by us; your thoughts and your body will no longer belong to you. And yet you still care about these trivial matters?" 0

The voice carried a haughty laughter as if it could see through everything. Isabella forced herself to suppress her inner unease and fear, ignoring these voices. She understood that time was slowly slipping away while the encroachment of those Black Worms intensified. She couldn't stop them from invading her body, but she could still control her mind—at least for now. 0

Her gaze remained locked on the alien corpse as she observed the movements of the Black Worms. They wriggled within the body in a peculiar rhythm, as if they were an indispensable part of a vast biological system. Whenever a part of the corpse began to rot, these Worms would immediately converge there, swiftly repairing it like a never-ending war—one side representing the force of decay while the other embodied the relentless restoration by these Worms. 0

"They are rebuilding..." Isabella murmured to herself, filled with confusion and curiosity. Why did these Worms possess such powerful regenerative abilities? They didn't behave like ordinary parasites that simply drained energy from their hosts; they resembled a complete biological system capable of restoring decayed flesh back to its original state through some unknown means. What secrets lay hidden behind this? 0

Her fingertips gently brushed against the corpse as she felt that strange vibration, as if life had not entirely vanished and that the Worms were engaged in an endless cycle between life and death. "Are these Worms... some kind of self-repairing biological machines?" Speculations began to form in Isabella's mind; this seemed like a recovery mechanism more advanced than any life form on Earth—capable of altering biological structures in some way or even reversing death. 0

Yet still, the voice in her head refused to relent: "These questions are meaningless, Isabella. Your time is running out; instead of getting tangled up in these thoughts, you might as well prepare for your own destruction!" The voice grew increasingly sharp and piercing as if it aimed to tear apart her sanity. 0

Isabella forced herself to calm down, gritting her teeth as she pushed those strange whispers deep into the recesses of her mind. She knew she had to seize the moment—perhaps the secrets of the Black Worm were the answers she sought. 0

"What are these things...?" she murmured to herself, continuously analyzing every detail. No matter how much the voices in her head interfered, she maintained the rationality of a scientist; it was her only weapon. 0

Suppressing her inner fear, Isabella took out her recording device from her backpack and activated the video and audio recording functions. Even though she could feel the Black Worm's encroachment within her body deepening, and the whispers in her mind growing clearer, she remained composed and began recording. 0

"This is Isabella Holt, conducting a field recording. Time unknown, location inside an Alien Ship." Her voice was steady and calm, as if she were engaged in an ordinary lab report. She aimed the device's camera at the alien corpse, clearly capturing the sight of black worms writhing on its body. "The subject currently under observation is a remnant of an Alien Lifeform, which is in a state of advanced decay. However, the Black Worms parasitizing it seem to possess powerful regenerative abilities, continuously performing self-repair on the flesh despite the host being deceased." 0

She paused for a moment, breathing lightly as she sensed the whispers closing in on her consciousness. But she did not let herself lose control and continued recording: "The behavioral patterns of these worms are currently unclear, but it is speculated that they can suppress the death process of their host to some extent and maintain its bodily functions—this is an extremely unusual phenomenon from both biological and physical perspectives. Preliminary judgment suggests that they are not merely parasitic organisms but more akin to some form of biomechanical entity." 0

She raised her hand and gently touched her forehead, feeling those voices intensifying, gradually occupying her thoughts. "Now reporting on my physical condition. It is presumed that the Black Worm has entered my body and begun exerting some form of psychological and physiological manipulation over me. So far, emotional fluctuations have been frequent, accompanied by slight hallucinations and whispers. I am still able to maintain self-awareness, but my control has weakened..." 0

Her voice trembled slightly but quickly steadied as she continued: "As a scientist, I must document all possible information. The effects of these worms on the human body are highly valuable for research. I sense they are gradually undermining my will through psychological manipulation—this may be their core method of invading hosts." 0

Isabella shifted her gaze away from the corpse and took a deep breath, trying to calm the turmoil within her. She knew she had reached the brink of life but chose to confront it with reason. "If anyone finds this recording, I hope it can provide crucial clues for future research. I believe... the answers lie within this ship. Regardless of whether I ultimately succeed or not, I hope this data can help future generations understand these alien life forms and the powers behind them." 0

She stopped recording; the voices surged once more in her mind, but she resolutely suppressed them. She knew time was running out, yet every second of calmness and documentation was for a potential salvation in the future. 0
