The voice in Isabella's mind began to grow frantic and agitated, as if the Black Worms had collectively awakened in an instant. Their whispers, once cold, now brimmed with a morbid reverence and fervor. The sound echoed relentlessly in her head, filled with an uncontrollable ecstasy—like reuniting with a long-lost mother or encountering a creator. 0

"Mother! She's right there!" 0

The voices seemed to intertwine, merging into a grander chorus, as if countless consciousnesses were calling out to the Black Worm. Isabella's fingers trembled slightly; she forced herself to remain calm, but the fear within her became increasingly difficult to control. She understood that the massive Black Worm was the source of these malevolent entities, their origin, the root of all chaos and destruction. 0

"Are you... the original entity?" Isabella struggled to suppress the turmoil in her mind, her voice trembling as she directed her question at the artificial intelligence before her. 0

The AI on the panel flickered, as if rapidly retrieving data. After a few seconds, an electronic hum filled the cabin, and then the small alien projection reappeared, appearing even more disjointed. Its movements were slow and stuttered, as if the system had been eroded in some way, but it ultimately managed to respond. 0

"Yes... that is... the original entity." The AI's voice was cold and intermittent, as if struggling to reboot its system. 0

"We call it... 'Source of Darkness'... it does not belong to our galaxy; it comes from a more distant part of the universe. At first, we thought... it was merely some unknown life form, but soon we realized... this is a kind of... higher existence that can... create and control all beings infected by it..." 0

Isabella took a deep breath, her gaze fixed intently on the frozen Black Worm. The wicked whispers grew stronger, as if urging her to approach and touch the Worm, to merge with its power. 0

"We... thought... we could... control it." The AI's voice grew fainter before suddenly regaining its cold calmness, as if reminding or warning them. "It is not life; it is a catastrophe... you must escape." 0

Upon hearing this, Jonas's expression turned grave; the fate of their ship had already proven the destructive nature of this disaster. Meanwhile, Isabella felt those voices in her mind becoming overwhelmingly excited, even beginning to coax her sweetly to come closer to the Worm and "embrace it." 0

"I can't..." Isabella gritted her teeth, trying to resist this temptation, her fists clenched tightly. Yet she understood that if this Worm was indeed the original entity, it might be her only chance at uncovering the truth and finding the ultimate answer regarding the Super Cell. 0

"You can," the voice whispered, laced with a chilling allure. 0

Jonas looked at Isabella's face, his brow furrowed. "Isabella, don't go near that thing... that's the source of it all." 0

Isabella stood before the massive Black Worm, a storm raging within her. The answers to the Light Activation Project, the origin of the Super Cell, could all be found within this terrifying dark creation, just within reach. This was the goal she had relentlessly pursued; perhaps with just one step forward, she could unravel the greatest and most incredible mystery in the scientific community. 0

"You know you must get closer to it." The whisper carried a sweet seduction, as if it understood Isabella's heart better than anyone else, aware of her ambitions, her thirst for knowledge, and the immense pressure she felt from her family's decline. 0

"The truth of the Light Activation Project... is just one step away." The voice grew stronger, like an irresistible tide swirling in her mind. "Accept us, and you will become a supreme being." 0

Isabella's fingers trembled lightly; the Black Worm loomed before her, its evil aura contained by the cold glass jar. Yet she could almost feel its oppressive presence, that dark power seemed to beckon her, awakening her deepest desires. 0

But her rational mind screamed in despair. "No, I can't do this..." Images of Mocus's fate flashed in her mind, horrific scenes of those infected by the Black Worm. She understood that once she succumbed to this power, she would no longer be Isabella but a puppet of darkness, losing herself and becoming another controlled shell. 0

However, her scientific spirit told her this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Countless questions and puzzles could all be solved here. She could become the key to unraveling this cosmic disaster, mastering the dark power in her hands, even saving herself from the fate of being controlled by the Worm. 0

"Get closer to it..." The voice seduced her in a low tone, like a cold snake slowly slithering down her spine. It carried a nauseating sweetness that pushed her toward the abyss. "Accept it, and you will possess infinite power, transcending all limits. Save your family and realize all your dreams..." 0

Isabella's breath quickened; her heartbeat thundered in her ears. She knew she had already been infiltrated by the Worm; time was running out. If she did not seize this opportunity soon, her life would be irretrievable, and this answer might be her last salvation. 0

"But what is the cost?" Her reason cried out at the last moment, warning her that everything could be destroyed. 0

Her nails dug deep into her palm as she tried to remind herself through pain: darkness is not power; it is destruction. Her scientific spirit told her that the Worm was not the answer but a calamity. Yet that voice took advantage of her hesitation, constantly pressing on her thoughts as if every second was devouring her sanity and leading her toward an irreversible abyss. 0

"Choose now, Isabella." The whisper gently spoke in her ear, carrying an irresistible temptation. "Choose us, choose the truth... or choose failure and destruction." 0

Isabella stood between two extreme cliffs, her mind a whirlwind of confusion. The scientific records in her hand contrasted sharply with the evil Worm; how was she to choose? 0

Jonas watched Isabella, a deep unease swelling within him. She stood there, her fingers trembling slightly, her gaze darting back and forth between the massive Black Worm and the control panel, her expression filled with struggle and pain. He could not determine whether she was still the steadfast, rational scientist he knew or if she had already been consumed by darkness, controlled by that malevolent force. 0

"Isabella!" Jonas's voice was low and firm, tinged with an anxiety he had never felt before. He knew this was a critical moment; if she chose the wrong path, everything would be irretrievable. 0

Isabella's body quivered slightly as if she had heard him call her name but did not respond immediately. Her eyes remained unfocused, as if trapped in an inescapable vortex, the dark whispers swirling in her mind, mocking and tempting her. 0

Jonas silently took a breath, raising the gun in his hand and aiming it toward Isabella, his finger gently resting on the trigger. At that moment, his heart raced; she appeared like a fragile porcelain figure on the verge of shattering into a thousand pieces. He knew he had to remain calm, but the fear inside him was beginning to erode his reason. He was uncertain whether the person before him was truly Isabella or if some sinister force was manipulating her body and playing with her thoughts. 0

"Isabella!" Jonas's voice rang out again, this time more urgent. He had to awaken whatever will remained within her before she was completely overtaken by the Worm. "I believe in you! I believe you're still here; don't let these things control you—this isn't what you want!" 0

A flash of pain and conflict crossed Isabella's face as her fingers unconsciously reached for the control panel but then halted mid-air, seemingly battling against the dark forces within her. The evil whispers screamed in her mind, desperately coaxing her to surrender to the black Worm and embark on an irreversible path of destruction. 0

Jonas knew this was their last chance. He forced himself to calm down; the gun still pointed at Isabella, but he tried to keep his voice steady, as if making one final plea. "Isabella, please come back... don’t make a decision you’ll regret." 0

He could feel her struggle; the inner voice clashed violently with the Worm’s whispers. Her fingers hovered in the air as if every inch of movement required immense effort. Isabella closed her eyes, took a deep breath, then slowly opened them again, a glimmer of familiar light still present within. 0

"I am still me, Jonas..." Her voice was faint yet resolute. "But I can't guarantee how long this will last..." 0

Jonas lowered the gun slightly; he understood that Isabella was fighting fiercely against her inner demons, and all he could do was believe in her and give her time. 0
