Fangteng's mother is walking on the street with Fang Teng, carrying a fruit basket in her hand. The two are preparing to go to the mayor's house to express their gratitude.
People on the street are staring at Fang Teng with strange looks in their eyes. The back of his head has swollen to an extreme, as if he's carrying two heads. Several men are pointing and cursing at Fang Teng, telling the monster to leave the town.
Fang Teng hangs his head low, as if burned by fire, and the two-kilometer journey feels extremely long.
Fang Teng finally arrived at the mayor's house, feeling a little timid. She stood in front of the building, hesitant to enter, worried about startling the mayor's family.

He slapped the back of his head fiercely, and the face let out a low growl, as if another conscious head had sprouted. Fang Teng knew that all of this must be related to the water monkey.
Thinking of this, Fang Teng immediately ran towards the pond on the back mountain of the town. He stood breathlessly by the pond, looking at the pale green water surrounded by large rocks and weeds, but the water monkey did not appear.
Fang Teng speculated that as long as he killed the water monkey, the tumor on the back of his head would disappear.
So he went to a nearby stream to catch some small fish and shrimp. He took out a large bamboo net cage from the bushes, which he had hidden there with a group of friends. They usually used this cage to catch big fish during their holidays.
Fang Teng threw small fish and shrimp into the net cage as bait and placed it in the pond, wedged between two large stones. At that moment, the water monkey appeared in the half-meter-wide crevice. Fang Teng then hid in the nearby bushes, waiting quietly.
This wait lasted until late at night, with bright moonlight illuminating the entire back mountain.

Fang Teng threw the water monkey onto the ground and poked it with a branch, scolding, "Was that face on my head caused by you?"
The water monkey, curled up on the ground, remained motionless. After a moment, it slowly lifted its damp, round head and grinned at Fang Teng with a chattering laugh.
This ethereal laughter made Fang Teng feel uneasy, but thinking about his experiences over the past few days filled him with anger. He picked up a stone and hurled it fiercely at the water monkey.
For over ten minutes, he relentlessly smashed the Water Monkey, turning it into a puddle of bloody flesh. Yet strangely, the Water Monkey's white face remained intact, still expressionless as it grinned at Fang Teng.
Fang Teng felt utterly exhausted. He stared in horror at that face and stumbled backward. At that moment, the voice of the tumor echoed in his mind again: "Killing one monkey won't help. You should kill the people in the town. Do you remember how they treated you? They wanted to burn you alive just because you have an extra face. You haven't done anything wrong, yet they want you dead. Is that fair? Listen to me; let's burn these disgusting people together..."
"No, no, I don't want to!" Fang Teng screamed, holding her head.
"Have you forgotten how those people treated you?"
Fang Teng Heaving heavily, with a gradually fierce look in his eyes, he lifted his face and stared fixedly at the houses below the mountain.
