And so, I moved out of Sunshine Villa. I settled into Seaside Villa, far from the city. I began to study seriously how to invest.
"Zhang Liangshan, which industry do you think I should invest in?" I asked humbly.
"Right now, the entertainment industry, gaming sector, talent agencies, food and beverage, and women's fashion are all good options," Zhang Liangshan replied.
"They all sound pretty good," I said, liking them all.
"You could make a chart listing the advantages and disadvantages of these industries; that way, you'll know which one suits you best," Zhang Liangshan suggested.
"Okay, then you help me with it," I said happily.
"Sure," Zhang Liangshan agreed.
"By the way, Bo Jingtian wants to know how you've been lately," Zhang Liangshan informed me.
"Oh," I responded lightly.
"He wants to understand your situation," Zhang Liangshan emphasized.
"Oh," I remained indifferent.
"Do you have no feelings for him anymore?" Zhang Liangshan asked in surprise.
"I..." I hesitated.
"It seems like you really don't like him anymore," Zhang Liangshan guessed.
"I don't know," I said, feeling a bit lost.
"Are you really going to break up?" Zhang Liangshan asked reluctantly.
"Yeah," I replied helplessly.
"Well then," Zhang Liangshan accepted it reluctantly.
Thus, Zhang Liangshan informed Bo Jingtian about the situation. Knowing that I was looking to invest, Bo Jingtian took the initiative to take on this task. He diligently gathered a lot of information about various projects' pros and cons for me.
"This Bo Jingtian really lives up to being the world's richest man; he’s so thorough in his work," I praised him.
"Indeed," Zhang Liangshan agreed with admiration.
"But why is he here?" I asked in confusion.
"He said that you asked him about investments and he felt he could help you, so he took it upon himself," Zhang Liangshan explained.
"Oh," I understood now.
"It seems he still cares about you a lot," Zhang Liangshan said happily.
"Yeah," I felt it too.
"Have you decided to forgive him yet?" Zhang Liangshan asked me.
"I haven't thought it through yet," I admitted honestly.
"Don't hesitate too much; otherwise, someone else might snatch him away," Zhang Liangshan reminded me.
"Who would want to take him?" I asked in confusion.
"Many people like him," Zhang Liangshan said seriously.
"Oh," I replied, feeling a bit flustered.
"So you need to seize the opportunity," Zhang Liangshan urged.
"Mm," I nodded in agreement.
"Have you made your choice?" Zhang Liangshan asked me.
"I choose women's clothing and the gaming industry," I declared decisively.
"Why?" Zhang Liangshan inquired with curiosity.
"Because I like both of them," I said happily.
"Oh," Zhang Liangshan understood.
"Once the project is on track, I'll invest in other industries," I planned.
"Mm," Zhang Liangshan supported my decision.
"Bo Jingtian also said he wants you to invest in his company," Zhang Liangshan informed me.
"Bo Corporation?" I exclaimed in surprise.
"Yes," Zhang Liangshan nodded.
"He wants me to invest?" I couldn't believe it.
"Yes," Zhang Liangshan nodded again.
"Why?" I was confused.
"He wants you to make more money," Zhang Liangshan conveyed Bo Jingtian's words.
"Oh," I felt pleased.
"I want to buy in," I decided immediately.
"Great," Zhang Liangshan was also happy.
"You tell Bo Jingtian that I'm buying in," I said without hesitation.
"Okay," Zhang Liangshan agreed promptly.
Just like that, I became a shareholder of Bo Corporation. Bo Jingtian was overjoyed as well.
"If she’s willing to take my offer, does that mean she still likes me?" Bo Jingtian speculated.
"No, she just wants to make money," Bo Jingtian denied again.
"But as long as she’s willing to have a relationship with me, I have a chance to make her like me again," Bo Jingtian said optimistically.
"I need to work hard," Bo Jingtian encouraged himself.
From then on, Bo Jingtian sent me messages every day.
In the morning: "Are you up yet?"
At noon: "Have you eaten?"
In the evening: "Are you asleep yet?"
And there were regular check-ins as well.
"What do you want to eat today?" Bo Jingtian asked with concern.
"Anything," I replied, not feeling very hungry.
"How about hot pot?" Bo Jingtian suggested.
"That sounds good," I thought for a moment before answering.
"Then I'll have Li Ming bring it over," Bo Jingtian said happily.
"Alright," I agreed.
"Mm," Bo Jingtian said contentedly.
Soon enough, Li Ming delivered the hot pot.
"Madam, this is from the sir," Li Ming said as he carried in the hot pot.
"Okay," I stepped outside to receive it.
"Let me help you carry it inside," Li Ming offered enthusiastically.
"Sure," I agreed.
Li Ming helped me bring it into the dining room before heading back.
"It tastes good," I said after trying a bite.
"He likes spicy food," I guessed.
"He likes spicy food but told me not to eat any," I felt a bit angry.
"He doesn't consider me at all," the more I thought about it, the angrier I became.
"Ding dong, ding dong..." Suddenly, the doorbell rang.
"Who is it?" I felt a bit scared.
"It's me, Bo Jingtian," he answered.
"You..." I hurried to open the door.
"You..." I saw Bo Jingtian and said.
"I brought you breakfast," he smiled.
