"You..." I hurried to open the door.
"I brought you breakfast," Bo Jingtian said with a smile.
"Thank you," I replied gratefully.
"Do you like it?" Bo Jingtian asked eagerly.
"Yes," I nodded.
"That's good," Bo Jingtian said, relieved.
"You should go back now," I urged him.
"Are you sending me away?" Bo Jingtian asked, looking sad.
"No," I quickly denied.
"Then why do you want me to go back?" he asked, confused.
"Don't you have work?" I wondered.
"I'm off today," Bo Jingtian said gently.
"Oh," I believed him.
"Do you want to go out?" he asked me.
"I want to go out," I replied immediately.
"Where do you want to go?" he inquired.
"I..." Suddenly, an idea struck me.
"I want to travel," I said happily.
"I'll accompany you," Bo Jingtian immediately agreed.
"No, I'll go by myself," I refused.
"Why?" he asked, puzzled.
"Because I want to be independent for a while," I admitted honestly.
"Oh," Bo Jingtian looked a bit disappointed.
"Alright then," he finally conceded.
"When are you leaving?" he asked me.
"Tomorrow," I answered.
"That was fast!" Bo Jingtian exclaimed in surprise.
"Yeah," I replied firmly.
"When will you be back?" Bo Jingtian asked with concern.
"I don't know," I said, feeling lost.
"Come back early," Bo Jingtian said reluctantly.
"Okay," I promised.
And just like that, I set off.
I traveled to different cities, experiencing various lifestyles.
"Today is Jasmine," the Delivery Guy said as he handed me a bouquet of flowers.
"Thank you," I replied, accepting the flowers.
"Wishing you happiness," the Delivery Guy offered his blessings.
"Thank you," I expressed my gratitude.
"You're welcome," the Delivery Guy drove away.
"What kind of flowers do you like?" I immediately asked Bo Jingtian.
"I like you," Bo Jingtian said earnestly.
"I meant flowers," I emphasized.
"Flowers?" Bo Jingtian pondered.
"Haven't you answered my question yet?" I reminded him.
"I like Jasmine," Bo Jingtian answered.
"Why?" I asked curiously.
"Because it's pure and flawless," Bo Jingtian said with deep affection.
"Oh," I understood now.
"You don't have to send me flowers every day; there's no room for them at home," I reminded Bo Jingtian.
"Okay," Bo Jingtian agreed.
With that, we ended our conversation. I arrived at Gourmet City.
This place is famous for its food.
"Hello, Su Xiaoxiao," someone recognized me as soon as I took off my mask.
"Who are you?" I asked, puzzled.
"We're Internet Celebrity Bloggers, filming food videos here," they introduced themselves.
"Oh," I understood.
"Can we take a photo with you?" they asked eagerly.
"Sure," I agreed.
After we took the photo, they invited me to join them for some activities.
"No thanks, I prefer to be alone," I declined.
"Oh," they seemed a bit disappointed.
"Alright then," they finally accepted my decision.
With that, we parted ways.
I wandered around the food street for a long time and tasted many delicious dishes.
"This is so good," I said contentedly.
The next day, I arrived at the grasslands.
The people here were very warm, and I quickly became familiar with them.
"Miss Su, here’s a map," the village chief handed me a map and said.
"Thank you," I replied gratefully.
"No need to thank me," the village chief said generously.
"Do you need a guide?" he asked enthusiastically.
"No, it's fine," I refused.
"You’re not familiar with the terrain; it would be better to have one," the village chief insisted.
"Alright then," I finally agreed.
So, the village chief found someone to be my guide.
I had a great time on the grasslands and made many friends.
I even bought a gift for Bo Jingtian.
"This is your gift," I said to Bo Jingtian.
"Thank you," Bo Jingtian replied happily.
"You're welcome," I responded generously.
And so, we kept in touch.
However, when the signal was poor, we couldn't communicate.
For instance, when I was staying in a mountainous area.
There was no signal there, and I had to live without the internet.
But I didn't remain idle.
I became an elementary school teacher.
I taught the children in the mountains, and they liked me very much.
I stayed there until summer vacation.
"Teacher Su, are you leaving?" the class monitor asked me.
"Yes," I nodded.
"We will miss you," the students said sadly.
"I will miss you too, but all good things must come to an end; you must learn to say goodbye," I comforted them.
"Okay," they replied obediently.
And just like that, I left the mountains.
During this time, my contact with Bo Jingtian was sporadic.
Sometimes we would connect once a week; other times, it would be every two weeks...
But we had both gotten used to this way of interacting.
We each went about our own lives, doing our own things.
In the blink of an eye, a year had passed.
As the Spring Festival approached, I received many messages asking when I would return.
My travels were coming to an end, and a new story was about to begin.
