For Jack, who had just found the feeling of taking the lead as a big brother, he was naturally reluctant to suddenly become a younger brother again. He asked unwillingly, "Is there any difference?" I nodded firmly without saying anything. Jack shrugged and stepped back a little. I shook my head: "That's not enough, keep going back." Like driving ducks, I opened my arms and drove everyone to the back end of the wood. Then I mouthed something like this to them, "Follow me." I know Lao People don't understand Chinese, and they can't read my lips. When I said this, I used the middle finger and index finger of my right hand to do it. Made a running motion. I didn't have time to explain to him, I hope he understood what I meant. Then I turned around and ran toward the front of the log. I can feel the vibration of the wood, the vibration of my internal organs, and even the vibration of the air caused by the sound, but I can't hear this sound that can make me deaf. Yes, I have entered that very mysterious situation again. @ I have also discovered now that as long as my spirit is highly concentrated or I am in extreme danger, it is possible to enter this state. In this state, my vision and touch are sharper, and my hearing seems a bit numb, but it is not that I can't hear all sounds. It seems that under the control of some kind of nerve, the sounds that affect my thinking are blocked. I could hear certain sounds, like my heartbeat, my breathing. The sounds I could hear were amplified. However, in this state, the most obvious change in my judgment is my judgment. I may not necessarily make the most accurate judgment, but I will definitely make the fastest judgment. For example, now, I make a decision the moment I see the scene in front of me. I think everyone was stunned by the scene in front of them. Including Handsome Jack. Yes, what a purgatory on earth is in front of us. Under the action of inertia, our wood moves faster than the water flow. The next moment the white water vapor appears, our One-Eyed Beast Flashlight shines outside the exit of the Drainage Channel. This is a small space surrounded by mountains. Our One-Eyed Beast Flashlight can illuminate the opposite side of this space. Let me describe it like a pit. There are many DrainageChannels like this that we come in around the pit, pouring a lot of water into the pit. I can't count how many DrainageChannels are pouring water into this pit at a glance. There should be a lot of water. Countless water columns are gushing down like water dragons. It seems to make a huge noise. But I know. The sounds we hear and feel are not produced by the water column. I knew the pit the moment I saw it, and I think every one of us knows it. 0
Countless streams of water poured into the pit from the Drainage Channel, forming a massive whirlpool. More accurately, the entire pit was a gigantic vortex, and we were suspended above it. 0

This enormous whirlpool instilled a profound sense of crisis in each of us; it felt like a hell capable of shredding this world to pieces. 0

The walls of the vortex sloped steeply, at about a 45-degree angle, swirling rapidly in a counterclockwise direction. What sent chills down our spines was that the walls of the pit were not flat. Unlike any whirlpool I had ever seen, the walls were irregularly bulging, as if countless Evil Spirits were struggling within, causing the surface of the vortex to continuously rise and fall, presenting various eerie shapes. 0

Simultaneously, the contents within the vortex caused the water to bubble violently, creating a boiling white appearance that transformed the entire Pit Vortex into a frothing cauldron, accompanied by deafening sounds. Our wooden structure was plummeting toward the vortex, and one could only imagine the fate that awaited us if we fell in. 0

The forward momentum of the wood was swift, at least faster than the flow of water, allowing it to remain at an angle parallel to that of the Vortex Wall as it shot out from the Drainage Channel toward the whirlpool. This prevented us from falling like dumplings into boiling water. 0

I believe everyone knows about Galileo's famous experiment at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Now, I was personally verifying its authenticity. Running along this piece of wood, I did not soar or plummet; I fell downward at the same rate as it did. The force of gravity allowed me to run along this wooden beam and even accelerate continuously. 0

The massive piece of wood did not change its angle or speed due to my efforts; my strength was insignificant compared to its mass. As I ran forward, I shoved the One-Eyed Beast Flashlight into my mouth. I needed to jump off and maintain balance with my arms while keeping my posture steady. I wasn't sure if I would succeed; I was making one last desperate attempt. 0

Like me, I couldn't be certain that my decision was correct, but upon seeing this Pit Vortex, I made up my mind instantly. Of course, this decision wasn’t made blindly. 0

At the center of the Pit Vortex was a small black hole that stood out starkly against the boiling white Vortex Wall surrounding it. The entire area above was shrouded in mist, obscuring my view of this black hole's true nature. Yet I knew that compared to the terrifying Vortex Wall, this black hole seemed safer. Its darkness indicated that it wasn’t filled with water; it was a hollow void with something else beneath. 0

The pressing question now was whether I could leap into that black hole. We had surged out from the Drainage Channel; although propelled forward initially, once we left it, that forward momentum was quickly replaced by downward force. Even if I pushed myself to accelerate desperately, I had little confidence in jumping into the center of the Pit Vortex. 0

As my feet left the wood, I spread my arms wide to maximize my surface area against the wind. I felt like a glider; I wasn’t simply falling straight down but diving forward instead—I was flying. 0

I saw myself rapidly approaching the wall of the whirlpool while simultaneously getting closer to the black hole at its center. The steep slope of the Vortex Wall rushed past beneath me. I hoped that its sharp incline would allow me to evade disaster. 0

I was so close to the Vortex Wall that I could feel the mist rising from it, and I could see the water being continuously churned upwards. The water resembled soda infused with carbon dioxide, bubbling and frothing as if monstrous hands were reaching out to grab me. I couldn't make any evasive moves; all I could do was fully extend my body and charge toward that black hole with all my might. 0

The bubbly water appeared white, obscuring whatever lay beneath, but I was certain there was something down there, something terrifying. 0

In the end, I nearly slid along the wall of the vortex, the water splashing against me. However, at that moment, I had achieved my goal and exceeded my mission. 0

I flew into the vortex black hole and crashed against the opposite side. 0

I made it through, I told myself. Then, I executed an evasive maneuver, performing a front flip in mid-air. The next moment, my back slammed into something hard. 0
