The voice of Pig's Feet broke the silence in the darkness as he cautiously spoke, "Tomorrow's itinerary will take us to Brother Chao's shop." 0

Anthon lifted his head and looked at Pig's Feet in the rearview mirror, nodding to indicate he understood. "This was mentioned in the previous proposal." 0

Pig's Feet nodded, a hint of gloom in his eyes as he whispered, "You don't know the dark side of Brother Chao. Da Shewan only became like this after getting involved with him." 0

Upon hearing this, Anthon felt a chill run down his spine. He had always been suspicious of Brother Chao's background, but he never expected things to be so complicated. Pig's Feet's tone carried a warning and a plea that made him realize the situation was far more serious than he had imagined. 0

"I will do my best to protect Haohao," Pig's Feet continued, "but you must cooperate with me. Otherwise, none of us can guarantee his safety." 0

Anthon took a deep breath and nodded. "I understand. No matter what happens, I will work with you." 0

A flicker of gratitude crossed Pig's Feet's eyes as he glanced at the sleeping Da Shewan and softly said, "Remember, we are moving through darkness now; one misstep could lead us into the abyss. I hope you can grasp this point." 0

Anthon nodded, feeling a weight settle in his heart. He knew that every step ahead would be fraught with danger, but there was no turning back; he had to face it bravely. He looked at Haohao and silently prayed that they would make it through safely. 0

The dark road continued to stretch ahead, but the exchange between Pig's Feet and Anthon eased the atmosphere inside the car slightly. Although unknown dangers still lay ahead, at least they now shared a common goal: to protect Haohao, no matter the cost. 0

As they drove on, Anthon sat drowsily in the car, his mind replaying Pig's Feet's words about Brother Chao. He was uncertain about what kind of situation they would face tomorrow, filled with anxiety and doubt. 0

He began to recall the contents of the proposal. Tomorrow’s itinerary was set for Brother Chao’s seafood donburi restaurant in Pingtung, which prided itself on high quality at low prices. However, Anthon also remembered that reviews for this restaurant were quite polarized. Some customers praised the food as excellent value for money and high quality, while others criticized it for poor food quality that fell short of its claims; some even left negative reviews specifically to tarnish Brother Chao’s reputation. 0

Thinking about this made Anthon uneasy. The Southern Buffet project was originally intended to save Brother Chao’s precarious business, but if Brother Chao truly had a dark side as Pig's Feet suggested, would this filming trip expose them to even greater risks? 0

He couldn't help but think of Haohao. Haohao's physical and mental state was already in terrible shape, and after the harassment he faced from Da Shewan in the bathroom today, he was even more vulnerable. Anthon silently vowed to protect Haohao at all costs; he could not allow him to suffer any further harm. 0

The atmosphere inside the car remained oppressive. Pig's Feet drove with intense focus while Da Shewan slept heavily, emitting low snores. Haohao continued to sleep in his seat, his brow slightly furrowed, clearly unable to find peace even in his dreams. 0

Anthon leaned back in his seat, struggling to stay awake as he contemplated the challenges that awaited them tomorrow. He knew this was not just an ordinary shoot; it was a test fraught with danger. He had to be fully prepared to face whatever was coming. 0

Upon returning to Pingtung, Da Shewan's home resembled a black hole that swallowed all light, shrouded in darkness. Only the light in Grandpa's room on the first floor flickered weakly. As Da Shewan stirred awake and glanced at that light through the car window, an unnameable anger ignited within him. His brow furrowed deeply as he silently cursed, "Damn it! How is that old bastard still alive...?" 0

Every time he saw the light from Grandpa's room, his rage erupted like an uncontrollable volcano. The house still belonged to Grandpa, yet he had to swallow his pride and manage everything. Why did that frail old man still have control over so much property? Each time he thought of this, Da Shewan felt like molten lava boiling within him, unable to cool down. 0

Da Shewan's anger gradually morphed into a frenzy, and his thoughts became increasingly twisted. He believed he deserved more control and should have seized everything long ago. Grandpa's existence was nothing but a massive obstacle—a stumbling block that needed to be completely removed. Da Shewan's expression turned ferocious as he silently vowed to find a way for Grandpa to pass on the inheritance to him; otherwise, he would never relent. 0

"Why does this guy still get to hold onto so much wealth?" Da Shewan thought through gritted teeth, his eyes glinting with madness. His fists clenched tightly as if he longed to burst into Grandpa's room and destroy everything. 0

The car stopped in the yard, and Pig's Feet turned off the engine, leaving the atmosphere inside still heavy with tension. Anthon observed Da Shewan's expression and sensed a dangerous aura lurking beneath the surface. He felt increasingly alert, knowing that the days ahead would likely be even more challenging. 0

Haohao remained deeply asleep in his seat, fatigue and pain etched across his face. Anthon gently tapped Haohao's shoulder and whispered, "Haohao, wake up; we're home." 0

Haohao groggily opened his eyes, looking at the familiar yet strange house before him, filled with helplessness and despair. He slowly got out of the car and followed Anthon toward the house. Da Shewan stood nearby with a cold smile on his face, watching them step by step into that home that felt like a black hole. 0

Da Shewan's heart still burned with fierce flames; his resentment toward Grandpa and desire for wealth coiled around his soul like a venomous snake. He knew he had to act quickly to satisfy that frenzied craving. Gazing at the light from Grandpa's room, he silently vowed to ensure that this old man disappeared soon so that he could take complete control of this household. 0
