Liu Yuan finished washing up with Beibei and coaxed her to sleep. By the time Beibei was asleep, it was already eleven o'clock at night. Liu Yuan went online to gather information, design the decoration style, and then washed up and rested.
Beibei was asleep in her own room, and Liu Yuan hoped to cultivate her independence by sometimes not sleeping with her. The next morning, Liu Yuan woke up to find Beibei already in her arms.
Liu Yuan looked at her and asked, "How did you end up here?"
Beibei replied, "I missed you."
Liu Yuan responded, "But you see me every day."
Beibei insisted, "I just missed you."
Liu Yuan said, "Alright then."
Beibei looked at her and said, "Mommy, can you sleep a little longer?"
Liu Yuan nodded, "Okay."
She fell back asleep. When she woke up again, it was already past nine.
Liu Yuan looked at Beibei and said, "Beibei, it's time to get up."
Beibei groaned, "Mommy, I want to sleep a bit more."
Liu Yuan replied, "Then you can sleep a little longer; I'll get up first."
Beibei nodded.
Liu Yuan got out of bed, washed up, and made breakfast. Once breakfast was ready, she called out to Beibei, "Beibei, it's time to get up for breakfast."
Beibei mumbled, "Mommy, I still want to sleep."
Liu Yuan urged her gently, "Beibei, you need to develop good habits; you should get up on time in the morning."
Beibei replied sleepily, "I know."
Finally, Beibei got up, washed up, and had breakfast. After finishing their meal, Liu Yuan said to Beibei, "Beibei, today we are going to the dealership to pick up the car."
Beibei looked curious and asked, "Pick up the car?"
Liu Yuan explained, "Yes, we're going to pick up the car that was in the accident."
Beibei responded with an understanding nod.
Liu Yuan continued, "Do you know what it means to have a car accident?"
Beibei answered confidently, "I know; it means the car got damaged."
Liu Yuan nodded in agreement.
Liu Yuan drove to the dealership with Beibei.
In the car, Beibei looked at the man in front of them and said, "Hello, sir."
The man turned to Beibei and replied, "Hello, little one."
Beibei continued, "We are going to buy a car."
The man then looked at Liu Yuan and asked, "Are you buying a car?"
Liu Yuan shook his head and said, "No, we are just here to pick up the car that was in an accident."
The man nodded and advised, "Oh, be careful while driving."
Liu Yuan responded with a simple, "Mm-hmm."
The man added, "And don't drive while tired."
Liu Yuan replied again, "Mm-hmm."
Upon arriving at the dealership, Liu Yuan got out of the car and said to the man, "Goodbye, sir."
The man smiled back and said, "Goodbye."
Liu Yuan turned to Beibei and said, "Beibei, it's time to get out."
Beibei exited the car.
Liu Yuan took Beibei's hand as they walked into the store.
Inside, a staff member greeted Beibei, saying, "Hello, Beibei."
Beibei looked at him and replied, "Hello."
The staff member pointed to something and asked, "Beibei, do you see what this is?"
Beibei's eyes lit up as she saw a panda toy in his hands. "Panda!" she exclaimed excitedly.
The staff member smiled at her and asked, "Do you like it?"
Beibei nodded enthusiastically. "I like it."
The staff member offered her the toy. "Then you can play with it."
Beibei beamed and said, "Thank you!"
"You're welcome," the staff member replied.
At that moment, Chen Yan walked over and called out to Beibei, "Beibei."
Beibei turned around and exclaimed, "Daddy!"
Chen Yan knelt down to her level and asked, "What are you playing with?"
Beibei held up the panda toy proudly. "I'm playing with the panda."
Chen Yan smiled at her and asked, "Do you like pandas?"
Beibei nodded eagerly. "I like them."
Chen Yan encouraged her gently, "Then go ahead and play with the panda."
Beibei looked at him and said, "Hmm."
Chen Yan walked into the store and looked at Liu Yuan. "Are you busy?"
Liu Yuan replied, "Hmm."
Chen Yan asked her, "Am I interrupting you?"
Liu Yuan responded, "You interrupt me every day."
Chen Yan said, "Then I'll leave."
Liu Yuan replied, "Go ahead."
Chen Yan looked at her and said, "I'm really leaving."
Liu Yuan urged, "Go on."
Chen Yan reiterated, "I'm leaving."
Liu Yuan insisted, "Go ahead."
Chen Yan turned and walked away.
Liu Yuan continued with her work.
After a while, Chen Yan returned, holding a panda toy. He looked at Beibei and called out, "Beibei."
Beibei looked at him excitedly and exclaimed, "Daddy!"
Chen Yan asked her, "Beibei, do you see what this is?"
Beibei gazed at the panda toy in his hand and exclaimed with excitement, "A panda!"
Chen Yan asked her, "Do you like it?"
Beibei replied, "I like it."
Chen Yan said to her, "Then you can play with it."
Beibei looked up at him and said, "Thank you."
Chen Yan smiled and replied, "You're welcome."
He sat down in the store, taking in the warm and lively decorations around him.
