Time passed slowly, each second stretching out before me. In my waiting, I opened a mini-game created by Liu Jian, seeking comfort through the Cute Pet Grass within it. I equipped the Cute Pet Grass with armor, adorned it with a thick helmet, and painted it in bright colors. I even wrote a letter to it, hoping it would protect Liu Jian.

At twelve-thirty in the afternoon, the door to the operating room finally swung open. Liu Jian was wheeled out by a nurse, his face pale and eyes tightly shut. I hurried over and asked the nearby nurse, "How is he?"
"The surgery went smoothly; he now needs to rest in his ward," she replied.
"Okay, okay." I followed Liu Jian to his room. After the nurse settled him in, she said to me, "The patient needs quiet; you should head home for now."
"Alright." I stole one last glance at Liu Jian before gently stepping out of the ward.
