The crowd arrived at the Glass Exhibition Hall. For those who had visited before, it was a familiar sight, but for the newcomers standing at the entrance, they were taken aback by the stunning display outside.
A tree made of crystal glass stood majestically, adorned with countless glass orbs that sparkled in the sunlight, casting a kaleidoscope of colors that dazzled the eyes. The onlookers couldn't help but marvel at the beauty and eagerly rushed inside to explore.
Though it was called an exhibition hall, it was actually a small courtyard transformed into a world of crystal glass. The decorations included fountains, furniture, and flora—all crafted from glass. Particularly striking was the corridor above the small lake, which featured a canopy-like structure not draped in plants but instead festooned with crystal beads that resembled a starry sky from afar.
As they walked through, it felt as if they were beneath a galaxy, with the light intensifying the dreamlike atmosphere, shimmering in vibrant hues. Once inside, excitement spread among the visitors as they dispersed to explore, with the corridor being the most popular attraction.
Inside the building were numerous glass artworks depicting various themes: the animal kingdom, plant life, and even cosmic scenes. Each theme was distinct yet all showcased the incredible craftsmanship of glassmaking.
Senior Sister had visited before and took Rao Jie under her wing as a guide. The space was small enough to explore in twenty minutes, leaving plenty of time for personal enjoyment afterward. Senior Sister wanted to take Rao Jie to a glass workshop where they could paint designs on glass pieces and create their own unique souvenirs.
However, Rao Jie wasn't interested. She had just arrived and noticed that Wu Rong had disappeared from view. Feeling a bit uneasy, she declined Senior Sister's invitation and decided to search for Wu Rong instead. She guessed that Wu Rong must have gone off with Ye Ming to find a place for tea.
There were plenty of relaxing spots around, easy to locate. After passing through the corridor, she found herself on the third floor of the building. The corridor was mostly occupied by couples taking photos together.
Rao Jie watched them with a hint of envy; if only she could be there with Wu Rong… Her steps slowed as she gazed up at the starry display above her head, feeling an undeniable stir in her heart.
Such beauty and romance sparked her imagination… She truly wished to be with Wu Rong—taking pictures together, chatting leisurely, exploring side by side. Just moments ago, she couldn’t see Wu Rong and felt anxious about it; she feared that while she was away, Chang Fei might go to Wu Rong and speak ill of her.
Last night, after much contemplation, a thought emerged in her mind: Should she be brave this time? To try something new? Even if she had many shortcomings, couldn’t she still make an effort?
With these thoughts swirling in her mind, Rao Jie couldn't help but quicken her pace toward the leisure area on the third floor. Sure enough, she spotted Ye Ming but did not see Wu Rong anywhere nearby.
Rao Jie hurried over and asked, "Where is Wu Rong?"
Ye Ming, already surprised to see Rao Jie, was even more astonished when he heard Rao Jie directly call out Wu Rong's name in front of him.
"He just went downstairs to look for you. I mean... didn't I tell you both that you're idiots? If you want to find each other, why not just call?"
Rao Jie paused for a moment before quickly reacting.
Ye Ming laughed heartily at Rao Jie's response and said, "What do you need him for? If he can't find you, he'll definitely contact you soon."
Still impatient, Rao Jie pulled out his phone, preparing to make a call while glancing out the large floor-to-ceiling window beside him. The view here was the best; he could see the entire courtyard and maybe catch a glimpse of where Wu Rong was.
"I just want to hang out with him," Rao Jie replied absentmindedly.
