I leaned against the shelf at the corner, watching the monsters rushing towards me. When it reached the corner, I directly swung an axe horizontally. With a "bang," it fell to the ground, its head split open by me.
The other monster didn't even care that the one in front had already died, and still rushed towards me.
I quickly retreated and hid behind the next shelf, then observed the approaching monster through the gaps between the products on the shelf. As it rushed around the corner of the shelf, I used the old trick again, suddenly sticking out my leg to trip it. Then I swung an axe at the back of its head, and white brain matter splattered all over the floor. Dealing with this kind of completely unintelligent monster, as long as it doesn't catch me off guard, there's no difficulty in facing it one-on-one for me now.
I wiped the sweat off my forehead with my arm, and suddenly felt a strong tug on my backpack from behind, as if something was pulling at it. I didn't react in time and was pulled back, stumbling against the shelf. Then I heard a roar, and as I turned my head, I saw a bloodied face trying to bite me through the shelf, but it was blocked by some items. I quickly reacted, raising my left hand with the Umbrella Sword and stabbing it into the creature's eye socket, then twisting and pulling. Soon, the creature fell down, but its hands were still tightly gripping my backpack.
I took off my backpack and ran to the other side of the shelf. I struck it on the head with an axe, then struck its arms, and finally its hands slowly released my backpack and dropped to the ground. I was caught off guard by this sudden attacker from behind. If it weren't for the shelf blocking it, I think I would have been bitten. I shudder at the thought. It seems I shouldn't show off. I was just starting to show off a little, and I was ambushed. Fortunately, the ambush was unsuccessful.

Just as I was crouching to organize my backpack, "whoosh," a cold light shot at me from behind.
Learning from the lesson of being ambushed from behind earlier, I immediately went down and the cold light flew past my back, hitting the shelf support, sparking a burst of fire, then rebounding and nailing onto a wooden cutting board hanging in the kitchenware area, causing the board to shake.
This is obviously not the work of a monster. I immediately rolled and hid behind another shelf, shouting, "Who the hell?!"
No one answered me. I looked through the crack in the shelf and saw a agile figure wearing a mask, crossing the window and climbing onto the roof. Then I heard footsteps getting farther and farther away from above me.
I was puzzled by the ambush just now. Who is this person? Why did they ambush me?
Want to steal the supplies from my backpack? Come on, there are so many supplies in this supermarket, you can take whatever you want.
I thought about it, I haven't offended anyone usually, but the attack method of that person just now was obviously intending to take my life.
I hid behind the shelf for a few more minutes, and only came out slowly after making sure that the completely unethical guy had really left.
I looked at the cutting board, and what was inserted into it was actually a steel-made syringe, with some pale blue liquid already flowing down the cutting board and dripping onto the ground. I became even more puzzled. What is going on? In this environment where monsters are rampant, someone actually deliberately used a syringe to inject me? A prank? What's going on?
I couldn't figure it out for a while, and I wasn't sure if this light blue liquid was poisonous. However, I carefully removed the syringe from the cutting board while wearing gloves. I found an empty small box on the shelf at the supermarket, then put the syringe in the box and placed it in my backpack. That person just ambushed me, obviously trying to cause trouble, but I'm just an ordinary person.
I was thinking that maybe the three monsters just now were intentionally released by the person who ambushed me. I had clearly checked the entire second floor and didn't find any monsters. Now all I can be sure of is that the person who ambushed me just now has long hair and seems to be a woman based on her body shape. She was wearing a mask, so I couldn't see her face clearly. It's obvious that this person is targeting me on purpose, but I don't know why she's doing this at the moment.
Perhaps that light blue liquid is the key to solving the problem.
