Rao Jie was taken aback, thinking that Wu Rong wanted to spend those few days together. In fact, Rao Jie also wanted that; she had some words she had been holding back from Wu Rong. When Rao Jie was half-forced and half-threatened onto a plane for a long flight, she couldn't believe she was actually flying to Romantic Country with Wu Rong. This morning when she woke up and saw her passport and visa placed in front of her, it took her a while to process everything.
Wu Rong had directly entered her room and told her to hurry up and pack because they were catching a flight. In her daze, Rao Jie realized that Wu Rong had gone to her father to get her passport since hers was left at home.
She couldn't imagine how he managed to get it. No wonder her father suddenly sent her some money and told her to have fun and not be unhappy; she had been disappointed thinking he just wanted her to enjoy the New Year alone outside.
Turns out it meant this.
It was Rao Jie's first time in first class, but she felt completely out of place. Unable to hold back, she asked Wu Rong sitting next to her, "Why did you bring me along if you're going home for the New Year?" She knew Wu Xin and the Wu Family's parents were in Romantic Country.
Wu Rong turned to look at her and said, "Who said I'm going home for the New Year? I just want to take you on a trip for the holiday. Besides, isn't Romantic Country the City of Flowers?"
What did that have to do with anything? Rao Jie was confused.
"But... I don't have... that much money."
Just the round-trip first-class ticket during the New Year period would completely deplete all of Rao Jie's hard-earned savings. She didn't want to spend someone else's money.
Wu Rong replied, "Is this really the time to worry about money?"

"It's time to think about lifelong matters."
Rao Jie: God save her; she couldn't keep up with Wu Rong's train of thought. How did it turn into a lifelong matter? Weren't they just spending the New Year together?
However, from the moment Wu Rong set off in the morning, he had been bursting with energy, ready for battle at any moment. Rao Jie couldn't argue with him and had to accept the arrangement; after all, she couldn't just jump out of the plane.
Once they landed, Rao Jie expected to see Wu Xin waiting to pick them up, but there was no one in sight. They were already exhausted and needed to adjust to the time difference, so Rao Jie didn’t press the issue and followed Wu Rong to the hotel he had booked.
With a language barrier, Rao Jie numbly followed him into the elevator and arrived at their room, only to be dazzled by the decor. The room was filled with roses, exuding a romantic atmosphere. Wasn't this the kind of suite prepared for honeymoon couples?
And why did Wu Rong enter the same room as her while the attendant left? Were they really sharing a room?
Before Rao Jie could gather her thoughts, Wu Rong said, “After sitting on a plane for over ten hours, you should take a shower first. We can eat something later and adjust to the time difference.”
With that, Wu Rong grabbed his suitcase and left the bedroom. She then heard the sound of a door closing, and suddenly it was quiet. Rao Jie was left bewildered; was this not a shared room?
