Wu Rong often engaged in such actions, but this time he felt an inexplicable surge of nervousness. He held Rao Jie's hands tightly, pulling her closer, close enough that he could smell the fragrance of her hair.
Rao Jie offered no resistance, allowing him to act as he wished.
"Je t'aime."
His soft, deep voice carried a sense of promise that floated into Rao Jie's ears, making her heart tremble as if it had been lightly scorched.
Wu Rong lowered his head, gazing earnestly into Rao Jie's eyes. "Rao Jie, when we return, two months will have passed."
Rao Jie stared blankly at Wu Rong, not responding but waiting for him to continue.
"My feelings for you have been clear during this time. I'm a boring person, unconventional, and I don't know how to take care of others. I have a bad temper, but for you, I want to change. I will strive to treat you well and make you happy. Is that... still not enough?"
Rao Jie's eyes flickered as she absorbed Wu Rong's careful vulnerability. Despite being a genius and regarded as exceptional by others, he was now humbly pleading for a response in the face of love.
"Rao Jie, I know you haven't made a decision yet, but I..."
"I've made my decision!" Rao Jie suddenly whispered.
Wu Rong was taken aback, his voice slightly hoarse from tension. "What did you say? You've decided? Is it about who you'll be with?"
Taking a deep breath, the cool air swept away her anxiety and restlessness. It was as if she had found her courage. "Wu Rong, I'm sure."
"I admit I've developed feelings for you!"

Rao Jie had always thought of herself as someone who reacted slowly when it came to emotions. But being pushed by Wu Rong like this made her inexplicably quicken her pace. Yet this pace felt too fast...
After they had just romantically confessed their feelings and confirmed their desire to be together, Rao Jie thought they could simply enjoy sweet conversations and pure companionship. Instead, Wu Rong unexpectedly pulled her back to the hotel without a word.

As he kissed Rao Jie’s neck, he managed to say between kisses, "Now that I know your feelings and we’ve confirmed we’re together, you can’t run away. You’re mine for life, so why should I hold back?"
Rao Jie was almost laughing in frustration, yet she didn’t feel hurt or inclined to resist. This level of intimacy wasn’t new to her; she could handle it. All she could do was angrily retort, "So this is why you booked a room?"
Wu Rong slightly released her, a charming smile on his face. "This is just my beautiful expectation, and now that it’s been fulfilled..."
With that, he forcefully leaned down to kiss her again.
He loved this feeling—forcing a kiss for a moment and savoring how Rao Jie gradually softened under his touch. Once he felt satisfied, he would switch to tenderness.
