The bed was large, yet Wu Rong had wrapped both of them tightly in the blankets. Suddenly, the space felt constricted. They were both naked, having been too exhausted the night before for even a single finger to move, let alone get dressed. As for Wu Rong… well, he had no intention of letting her put on any clothes.
In that cramped space, he held her closely, leaning in to whisper sweet nothings in her ear, almost nibbling on her earlobe. The words flowed from him as if he were a different person after just one night. Those blush-inducing phrases made her feel even more shy than their bodies pressed together, leaving her flustered and at a loss. His deep voice echoed in her ears, creating an enveloping effect that stimulated her senses with its seductive allure.
Despite being utterly exhausted, they didn’t get out of bed until the afternoon. Wu Rong even dared to suggest they shower together, only to be chased out by Rao Jie. She caught a glimpse of herself in the mirror and quickly turned away, unable to bear it. Wu Rong was too relentless, and she had allowed him to take charge far too easily; this was not how new couples were supposed to behave.
Rao Jie reflected deeply on herself, determined to set some boundaries and not let Wu Rong lead her around by the nose anymore. Yet, when night fell and she found herself shamefully pinned against the massive floor-to-ceiling window by Wu Rong, she realized that her resistance against him was nearly nonexistent. She truly had no way to counter him.
Before, it had been out of respect; now it was out of affection. With the room lights off, the glass turned into a mirror-like surface. Outside the window lay the beautiful night view of Flower City, while inside was a scene filled with rippling spring light. Wu Rong's intoxicated expression and his passionate breaths revealed everything about him; even without turning around, Rao Jie could see it all clearly.
Some patterns once initiated are impossible to halt—especially for a newly awakened old virgin! By the time she came to her senses on the third day, it was already the first day of the Lunar New Year back home. However, in a foreign country, there was no special feeling attached; she had thought she would feel sad spending New Year's Eve alone without family, but Wu Rong had made her so oblivious that she hadn’t even realized when New Year's Eve passed by.
Rao Jie could no longer stand being cooped up in the room; she had to go out. Now that she was Wu Rong's girlfriend, she felt bold enough to express her feelings.
Seeing her pitiful expression, Wu Rong had no choice but to agree, and thus their New Year sightseeing adventure began. Rao Jie had never been to Flower City, so she was naturally interested in the famous attractions. However, Wu Rong seemed less enthusiastic. While Rao Jie took pictures of the sights, Wu Rong watched her, growing hungrier by the minute, just wanting time to pass quickly so he could take Rao Jie back to the hotel.
Noticing that Wu Rong looked a bit bored, Rao Jie didn't get upset; instead, she pulled him in for a selfie. Although Wu Rong wasn't fond of taking photos, he couldn't refuse Rao Jie’s request.
As she scrolled through her social media feed, seeing everyone else celebrating the New Year with joy and excitement, Rao Jie couldn't help but want to share her own happiness. "How about I post our selfie on my feed later?" she asked eagerly.
Wu Rong was taken aback; it was his first relationship, and he hadn't thought about this aspect before. But as soon as he heard her suggestion, he felt a rush of excitement. Wasn't this a perfect opportunity to show that Rao Jie belonged to him?
Rao Jie didn’t think too much about it; she simply felt happy about officially dating Wu Rong and couldn’t contain her excitement. They quickly agreed on a few pictures that showcased both the scenery and themselves, arranging them into a grid before posting them online together.
