Rao Jie felt a bit embarrassed when she saw the two words "Lover." The term carried too many meanings, yet she didn't stop Wu Rong from posting it. After Wu Rong shared it, she shyly liked the post.
Wu Rong's mood brightened significantly. He wrapped his arm around Rao Jie as they sat on a bench, gazing at the scenery ahead, and proudly declared, "Let's see how he tries to compete with me now!"
Rao Jie was taken aback, confused. "What do you mean?"
Wu Rong playfully pinched Rao Jie's nose and said, "My rival in love! But he's already a defeated foe."
It suddenly struck Rao Jie that she had forgotten to tell Wu Rong something important. "Actually, I made it clear to my senior a long time ago, right on the afternoon we went to Cloud Mountain Hot Springs. He accepted it, so we’ve been done for a while."
Wu Rong, feeling quite pleased with himself, was momentarily stunned by her revelation. "What?"

Wu Rong smirked, feeling even better now. He pulled Rao Jie closer into his embrace and firmly stated, "From now on, no one else is allowed to touch you without my permission."
"I know," she replied.
In just that short conversation, when they checked their phones again, the notifications were nearly exploding.
Rao Jie’s side was manageable, but Wu Rong’s was quite overwhelming. After all, he rarely posted on social media.
With such explosive news suddenly appearing in his updates, how could others not react?
Before long, Wu Rong received a phone call. The first caller was naturally Ye Ming, showering him with congratulations and wanting to take credit for the news. However, Wu Rong was in such a good mood that he chatted casually with him for a while.
But as the conversation continued, it took a turn.

Receiving the signal, Wu Rong turned to the gossiping Ye Ming on the phone and said, "Why are you so concerned about other people's affairs? Why don't you go find yourself a girlfriend?"
By the time he hung up, Rao Jie was already looking at him with a mix of embarrassment and anger.
Wu Rong awkwardly replied, "I got carried away in the moment; I'm sorry, I'll be more careful."
