Wu Xin said, "No way, brother, are you even jealous of me?"
Rao Jie couldn't help but glance at Wu Rong.
However, Wu Rong replied very seriously, "I also want to see what Rao Jie looked like in high school." Was she as cute, as gentle, and would she still bite when pushed too far?
Rao Jie felt her face heat up under Wu Rong's gaze and murmured in agreement, "I'm quite curious about how you used to be too."
Wu Xin, who was being bombarded with dog food without realizing it, was left unsure whether to feel happy or sad. All she could do was resentfully take photos of the delicious food. In the pictures, the food took center stage, while at the bottom was Wu Xin's playful yet beautiful face. Above it were the two fresh lovers gazing deeply into each other's eyes, oblivious to the camera.
【Being shown off by my brother and sister-in-law, I only have lonely food as my companion!】
After finishing their meal, Wu Xin wanted to follow Rao Jie and Wu Rong just to chat with her good friend. However, Wu Rong was so annoyed that he practically wanted to call a car to send his sister away immediately.
Rao Jie also wanted to talk to Wu Xin.
Wu Xin expressed her dissatisfaction with her brother for stealing her friend, saying, "What does it matter? I'm sleeping with Jie Jie tonight; I'm not going back."
Wu Rong retorted directly, "If you sleep with her, where am I supposed to sleep?"
Rao Jie was taken aback.
Wu Xin's expression froze instantly as she turned mechanically to look at Wu Rong. "Brother... are you moving this fast... are you even human?" Although she said this with indignation, out of Rao Jie's sight, she secretly gave her brother a thumbs-up.
Feigning concern, she looked at Rao Jie and said, "Jie Jie, did my brother force you? Don't be mad at him; that's just his temperament—willful and domineering. Don't worry; he will take responsibility for you. Why don't you both just stay here until Parents come back? You can go straight to the church..."
Before Wu Xin could finish her sentence, an exasperated Rao Jie covered her mouth.
Wu Xin quickly begged for mercy and said jokingly, "Alright then, I'll come find you both tomorrow during the day." With the thought that it wasn't easy for her brother to find a wife, she dared not disturb his good fortune.
In truth, Rao Jie wanted to be with Wu Xin too; sleeping together and sharing secrets was nice. Ever since she got together with Wu Rong, there were many things on her mind that she wanted to share with someone.
But before Rao Jie could voice her thoughts, Wu Rong took the initiative and said, "Okay... but... you should come a bit later in the day."
"Don't worry; I understand."
Rao Jie thought: …I don't want to talk to this pair of siblings anymore.
As the three laughed and chatted while preparing to leave the restaurant, suddenly Wu Rong stopped in his tracks.
Wu Xin was animatedly chatting with Rao Jie when she noticed her brother suddenly stop. Leaning forward, she asked, "What's going on? Huh? Nina?"
At the entrance of the restaurant, a woman stepped out of a silver sedan. She wore black-rimmed glasses, her eyes bright and intelligent, clearly indicating she was a clever woman. Her long brown hair was simply tied back, and her features suggested a mixed heritage. Dressed comfortably yet elegantly, there was an undercurrent of anger in her expression.
Upon spotting Wu Rong, she slammed the car door and marched directly toward him.
Wu Rong, wanting to avoid confrontation, pretended not to see her and grabbed Rao Jie’s hand, attempting to leave.
"Stop! Wu Rong!" Nina called out as she quickly reached them, fixing a piercing gaze on Wu Rong. "Are you avoiding me now? If I hadn’t seen those photos you posted, I wouldn’t have known you were back in Europe. Since you’re back, why haven’t you visited the school? You know the teacher..."
