Silence was not her real name, but a title bestowed upon her by the public after she solved countless cases. With extraordinary insight, rigorous logical reasoning, and a calm demeanor, she earned a stellar reputation in the police force and society at large. However, her true identity, age, and appearance were shrouded in mystery, just like her name.
One evening, a bizarre disappearance occurred in a luxury apartment in Tokyo. The victim was a young entrepreneur named Kusaka Yuichi. According to his family, he had not been seen since returning home the previous night; his phone, wallet, and other personal belongings were left in his room, and the doors and windows were securely locked with no signs of forced entry.
Upon receiving the report, the police quickly arrived at the scene. After a thorough investigation, they found no valuable clues. Just as everyone was at a loss, a figure dressed in a black trench coat and wearing a cap quietly appeared on the scene— Silence.
It appeared to be another meticulously planned crime. Silence's voice was deep and magnetic as she surveyed her surroundings, her gaze sharp as an eagle's.
Instead of rushing into the apartment, Silence first searched the corridors, stairwells, and nearby surveillance footage carefully. She understood that every detail could be crucial to solving the case.
After an exhaustive search, Silence finally discovered something unusual in a hidden camera at the end of the corridor. The footage showed that Kusaka Yuichi had returned home nearly an hour later than usual last night, and he appeared somewhat anxious. More notably, before he entered the elevator, he brushed past an ordinary-looking man with whom he exchanged brief eye contact.
This person might be key to unraveling the mystery. Silence pondered silently before retrieving surveillance footage of the man after he left the apartment. Through tracking him down, she discovered that he ultimately vanished near a bar called Dark Night.
Dark Night Bar was a hidden corner of Tokyo's underworld where various characters gathered—a breeding ground for crime and conspiracy. Silence changed into inconspicuous attire and ventured alone into this dangerous place.
Inside the bar, the lighting was dim and the music deafening; people either drank merrily or whispered conspiratorially. Silence navigated through the crowd with keen eyes, searching for traces of that mysterious man. Finally, in a secluded corner, she spotted the familiar figure.
The man was conversing with a middle-aged individual; both wore serious expressions. Silence stealthily approached and used her keen hearing to catch snippets of their conversation. It turned out that this mysterious man was employed by a criminal organization, and Kusaka Yuichi's disappearance was part of their plan.
Upon learning the truth, Silence did not act immediately but chose a more cautious approach. She utilized her resources to further investigate this organization's background and their grievances with Kusaka Yuichi.
Kusaka Yuichi's company had recently developed a technology with immense commercial value but also potential social issues. Consequently, he became a target for certain interest groups willing to eliminate him at any cost.
Armed with sufficient information, Silence devised an elaborate plan. She anonymously provided some clues to the police to guide them closer to the truth while secretly infiltrating the organization's hidden base for a final confrontation.
In an exhilarating showdown, Silence used her intelligence and courage to rescue the kidnapped Kusaka Yuichi and dismantle the criminal organization in one fell swoop. When the police arrived at the scene, they found Silence standing amidst the ruins with deep-set eyes filled with determination—like a goddess guarding justice.
