The next day, it wasn't until noon that Wu Xin appeared in the hotel lobby, sipping coffee while waiting for them. Wu Xin was stunningly beautiful, the kind of beauty that would appeal to both Eastern and Western tastes. By the time Wu Rong and Rao Jie arrived, several men from the Romantic Country were already trying to flirt with her.
Wu Xin handled the attention effortlessly, engaging in light-hearted banter that made it clear she wasn't interested while simultaneously charming her suitors. The men seemed eager to compete for her affection. Just then, Wu Rong and Rao Jie approached, prompting Wu Xin to stop playing along. She exchanged a few words in Romantic Language, indicating that her relatives had arrived. The men from the Romantic Country, being quite polite, naturally ceased their pursuit upon realizing she had company.
However, as Rao Jie walked over, one of the men seemed particularly interested in her and couldn't help but ask a question. Unfortunately, Rao Jie didn't understand what they were saying; she only heard Wu Rong's cool reply. Wu Xin burst out laughing, spraying her coffee everywhere and giving Wu Rong a thumbs-up. The man from the Romantic Country awkwardly apologized before leaving.
When Wu Rong and Rao Jie sat down, Wu Xin was still chuckling. Rao Jie curiously asked, "What did you just say to that foreign guy? Why are you laughing so much?"
Wu Xin was about to respond when Wu Rong interjected, "That man seemed interested in you and thought I was your brother. He wanted to know if he could join us, so I just said you were my girlfriend."
Wu Xin's laughter abruptly stopped, replaced by a dramatic eye roll. It was clear from her reaction that Wu Rong hadn't told the whole truth. Rao Jie decided to ask Wu Xin later and instead began inquiring about where they would go in the afternoon since there were many attractions she hadn't visited yet.
Wu Rong mentioned he had already arranged a place for them but said it wasn't time yet and suggested they explore some nearby sights first. When Rao Jie pressed him about the location, he playfully refused to tell her, claiming he wanted it to be a surprise. Frustrated but resigned, Rao Jie dropped the subject.
After sitting for a while, they decided to head out. However, Wu Xin noticed Rao Jie yawning frequently and kindly ordered her a cup of coffee. Rao Jie didn't understand the conversation between Wu Xin and the waiter and looked puzzled when the coffee was placed in front of her.
With a mischievous raise of her eyebrow, Wu Xin teased, "Waking up so late and still feeling sleepy? You must not have gotten enough rest; drink some coffee to perk up!"
Though it was an innocent exchange, Wu Xin's cheeky tone made Rao Jie feel an overwhelming urge to retreat to her room instead of going out. It seemed she would have to get used to this; as long as Wu Xin was around, playful teasing was inevitable.
After a brief rest, they set off for the attractions. At each site, Wu Xin loved linking arms with Rao Jie, leaving Wu Rong feeling awkward about pulling her along as well. Instead, he walked either ahead or behind them silently, acting as their photographer.
Wu Xin had a knack for taking photos in various creative ways; she not only put Rao Jie through her paces as a model but also made things challenging for Wu Rong as he tried to capture their moments on camera. If it weren't for wanting to keep Rao Jie's spirits high, he might have given up entirely.
After visiting two attractions and feeling quite tired, Wu Xin directed her brother to buy ice cream.
Wu Rong frowned at this suggestion. "Ice cream in the middle of winter? Are you serious?"
Wu Xin pointed angrily at Wu Rong and said, "I knew you never bought Rao Jie any. That ice cream is the most famous in Flower City; you have to eat it even in winter!"
