Li Zhaofeng took a small piece to taste and finally said something unrelated to the preparation.
"Are you a Pastry Chef? Did you study in your home country or here?"
Rao Jie was taken aback; Li Zhaofeng's voice was somewhat cold, making her feel nervous. She worried that her lack of professionalism had confused such a prominent figure. Why would someone like him waste time on an amateur like her?

Li Zhaofeng frowned, paused for a moment, and said, "No wonder your technique is so unprofessional."
Rao Jie felt utterly humiliated, being looked down upon by her idol. She wished she could just disappear.

Rao Jie was startled and looked up in disbelief.
A sense of unease began to creep in; it wasn't that she didn't understand what Li Zhaofeng meant. It was just that she had never thought of such a suggestion before. Was Li Zhaofeng suggesting she become a Pastry Chef? Was he really talking about her?
In an instant, something seemed to spread in her mind, making her want to escape.
Li Zhaofeng didn't look at her but casually examined the dessert she had made. Holding the remaining piece he had just taken, he asked Rao Jie, "May I take a piece for my wife to try?"
Rao Jie nodded in a daze and said, "Please do..."
Li Zhaofeng nodded in thanks, took the dessert, and turned to leave the stage. At that moment, Rao Jie saw a slightly plump woman smiling brightly at Li Zhaofeng, eagerly accepting the piece of dessert and beginning to savor it slowly.
Li Zhaofeng then sat down and poured her tea, speaking softly as his expression transformed from cold to one filled with warmth like sunlight.
Rao Jie watched in a daze until Li Zhaofeng's wife turned her almost round face towards her and smiled, giving her a thumbs-up.
Rao Jie felt a wave of relief wash over her, accompanied by an unusual warmth spreading throughout her body; her heart couldn't help but race.
She remembered that Li Zhaofeng's wife was now a renowned food critic. The fact that the desserts she made received recognition from both of them was an honor that left Rao Jie feeling utterly lost in bliss.
Watching his girlfriend smile foolishly at another man, Wu Rong's patience had truly reached its limit.
Just as he was excitedly about to stand up, his sister suddenly pulled him back.
"What are you doing?" Wu Rong snapped impatiently.
From Wu Rong's perspective, he couldn't see, but from Wu Xin's angle, everything was clear.
"Ah, look! They came together as a married couple, happily in love for several years. Why are you feeling jealous? Rao Jie only admires him as an idol."
Although his sister had stopped him, Wu Rong still felt a bit unhappy. Idol admiration? That was for a guy—why wasn't he the one being admired?
While Wu Rong was sulking, Rao Jie, who had been busy making desserts, cheerfully approached them.
"Give it a try," Rao Jie said, looking at them expectantly.
Despite his displeasure, Wu Rong would never pass up Rao Jie's desserts. Under the guidance of the master, even Wu Rong had to admit that his skills had improved compared to before.
