When she opened them again, she realized that the dazzling golden light was a large golden diamond-shaped cursor, identical in shape to the purple cursor she had encountered before.
She used her mind to activate the system voice report that she had previously turned off and heard the mechanical voice of the system: "Discovered sign-in point [Burial Ground of the White-scaled Flood Dragon]. Would you like to spend a sign-in point to sign in?"

The canyon was dim and shadowy, and from a distance, it was hard to see clearly. It wasn't until she got closer that she discovered a deep pool at its center. The water was ink-black and appeared exceedingly deep; looking down gave her an unsettling feeling as if she were about to be swallowed by an abyss.
Shaking off the disorientation, Lin Yao quickly enveloped herself in her psychic abilities to escape that consuming sensation. She looked up at the large golden marker hovering directly above the pool; clearly, the burial ground of the White-scaled Serpent lay just below.
As a resource-rich planet with a military presence, any area with resources had likely been plowed through multiple times. The fact that the White-scaled Serpent could be marked as a golden sign-in point indicated its prior strength must have been formidable.
The remains of powerful beasts were valuable materials, and being buried under the watchful eyes of stationed troops meant it had to be hidden away in a place difficult to discover. However, this pool looked far too deep for Lin Yao to explore without hesitation; after a moment of reflection, she hurried off to complete her task instead.
The sooner she accumulated enough sign-in points, the sooner she could sign in properly. Killing a first-level beast was simple for her; the challenge lay in the fact that there wasn't even a trace of any beast in the depths of the canyon. She had to venture far out before finally completing her task of slaying a beast.
Once her sign-in points reached the required amount, Lin Yao chose to sign in without hesitation. The system's mechanical voice immediately echoed: "Sign-in successful. You have obtained Extreme Vision Eyes (Pair), Clear Eye Potion, and Heart Shield Scale."
Lin Yao had already guessed what she would receive, but upon seeing the description of Extreme Vision Eyes, she couldn't help but gasp in astonishment.

Elemental abilities such as Wood, Water, and Healing are common and generally have a moderate awakening difficulty. However, physical mutations are far more peculiar and can be categorized into three types.
The first type is sensory mutations, which enhance vision, hearing, taste, and smell. The second type is bodily mutations, such as arms that can stretch freely or the growth of long, steel-like nails. The third type is augmentation, with a typical example being the growth of an extra pair of wings.
Lin Yao had encountered many who possessed enhanced vision, but this ability to perceive energy directly through visual means was something she had never seen before. If used correctly, it could be a formidable weapon. She couldn't help but marvel at the wonders of the sign-in system.
Looking at the notes for the other two items, she found:
**Clear Eye Potion** (enhances mutations in both eyes)
**Heart-Guarding Scales** (scales from the White Scale Flood Dragon that provide extremely strong protection)
It was clear that the Clear Eye Potion was meant to be used in conjunction with the Enhanced Vision ability. The system was evidently designed to help her increase her strength.
With this thought in mind, Lin Yao no longer hesitated and chose to merge with the Enhanced Vision ability. The fusion went smoothly; there was a slight throbbing pain for a moment, but after drinking the Clear Eye Potion, her eyes felt cool and comfortable.
As she activated her abilities and attempted to use Enhanced Vision, a vibrant world of varying colors appeared before her. Lin Yao analyzed what she saw: deeper colors represented greater amounts of energy, while different colors indicated different elemental energies—red for fire, green for wood, brown for earth, and blue for water.
Of course, there were many more colors to explore as she continued to analyze them in the future.
What was more pressing now was how to deal with the remains of that level ten mutated beast lying beneath the pond. A level ten mutated beast was a top-tier treasure among heavenly materials and earthly treasures. Even Lin Yao, who had grown tired of watching star beasts in her previous life, couldn't help but salivate at the thought.
Whether for crafting mechas or weapons or for concocting potions, it was an incredibly rare material!
