"Is Aunt Fang cooking?" As soon as she entered the house, Ye Fangfei saw Liu Fang coming out of the kitchen with a spatula in hand.
"Oh, Feifei is back! I heard you went back to your hometown. You're back again?" Liu Fang smiled at Ye Fangfei.
"Yes, I returned yesterday. I'm just here to see my mom and them today, and I'll be back to work tomorrow," Ye Fangfei replied as she walked inside.
Hearing the commotion, people from the courtyard began greeting Ye Fangfei.
"Feifei is back?"
"What did you bring for your mom? That's quite a big package."
"Feifei has returned from her hometown?"
Uncles, aunts, and neighbors who had watched Ye Fangfei grow up all greeted her warmly.
Ye Fangfei politely responded, "Uncle Zhao, have you eaten yet?"
"Yes, I'm back."
"It's nothing much; just some local specialties I brought from my hometown. My mother-in-law asked me to bring them for my mom," she explained.
While Ye Fangfei chatted for a moment in the yard, Ye Ting had already run inside to call out for Hao Chunying.
"Grandma, hurry up! Aunt is back!" Ye Ting urged.
"Slow down! Grandma is bringing the pot down," Hao Chunying replied.
When Hao Chunying came out, Ye Fangfei had just managed to escape the crowd and reached the front door.
"Mom, I'm back."
"Mom!" both Ye Fangfei and Tang Zhicheng said in unison.
"Come in quickly! I figured you would be back soon," Hao Chunying said with a smile so wide that her eyes nearly disappeared.
At that moment, Ye Jianguo and Ye Zijun also came out.
They exchanged greetings, but when Ye Fangfei noticed that Yi Xiaoli was not around, she asked Hao Chunying, "Mom, isn't my sister-in-law at home?"
"Your sister-in-law's mother is ill, so she went to take care of her," Hao Chunying replied with a hint of frustration at the mention of Yi Xiaoli.
Marrying this daughter-in-law has truly brought our family bad luck for generations. Her maternal family is like a bottomless pit. Hao Chunying complained angrily, not caring that Tang Zhicheng was still present.

"And this is sweet potato chips; my mother-in-law specifically gave me some to bring for you."
Ye Fangfei took out each item, explaining it to Hao Chunying one by one, with a total of more than ten small bags.
Looking at the pile of items on the table, Hao Chunying's mood instantly brightened. "Ah, our in-laws are so considerate, thinking of us even from so far away."
