Li Xiaomei knew that this wasn’t the place to discuss such matters openly. “The kids are just playing around. Huaihua, you all should go back quickly,” she urged.
Gao Dachui glared at Gao Huaihua but didn’t say anything. Seeing her father there, Gao Huaihua realized that taking the sewing machine was out of the question. She decided to come back another day when her father wasn’t home.
Without saying much more, she left with her companions. Once Gao Huaihua had gone, Li Xiaomei stepped out to help everyone clean up the mess.
“Daughter-in-law, you were right to refuse Gao Xiangchun’s advances towards your brother. This Gao Huaihua really can’t settle down at any time,” Tang Zhi recounted the situation and concluded with a sigh.
