After chatting for a while longer, Wang Zhaodi came over as well.
Why didn’t you call me when you two were talking? Wang Zhaodi asked.

Wang Zhaodi was holding some sewing in her hands and didn’t stand on ceremony; she took off her shoes and sat down on the kang.

Yes, Sister-in-law was just asking me about the goods at the market, Ye Fangfei cooperated.
"Go on, Sister-in-law, I'm listening," she said, her gaze fixed intently on Ye Fangfei.
Ye Fangfei was momentarily taken aback; she hadn't expected her casual remark to lead to an inquiry. Since it was her own words that had prompted this, she could only helplessly share some information about the goods building.
The goods building in the capital was actually quite similar to the one in our county town. It just had a wider variety of items; otherwise, there wasn't much difference. Ye Fangfei struggled to elaborate and could only vaguely mention this.
"I've heard that there are a lot of good things in the goods building, especially things like bicycles, sewing machines, and watches. Are they really always available?" Wang Zhaodi asked.
"Not really. Those items are also quite rare in the capital and often out of stock," Ye Fangfei explained with a smile.
"Aren't there a lot of bicycles on the streets of the capital? That's what I heard from Zhiwu," she added.
