Gu Zan stood in front of Gu Siyuan and Chen Die, glaring fiercely at the twisted face of Li Ruofeng.
"You wicked woman, you are not allowed to harm my father!"

The old matriarch looked at her grandson with a heart full of pain, her gaze towards Li Ruofeng filled with hatred. "This is my granddaughter's son! If anything happens to him, I won't spare you!"
How ridiculous! My son has just left this world, and you two are eager for me to make way for others. What kind of reasoning is that? I will not allow it; let’s see what you can do about it!
Li Ruofeng was determined; if she couldn’t fight for a meal, she would fight for her dignity.

She had lost her son, but she still had her daughter. Her daughter married the Second Prince and became a Consort, managing the household affairs of the Second Prince's residence and overseeing his business dealings. Gu Yanru was her greatest support.
