Du Hengyan reached up to touch the spot where Chi Mu Jiu had just kissed him, feeling a slight sting. Had she really left a strawberry mark on him? This woman had some nerve; it was the first time he ever wanted to completely ravish a woman beneath him.
She lay on top of him, and although there was a layer of clothing between them, just a moment ago she had been lost in the delight of her own teasing. Now, however, she could clearly sense his change.
Chi Mu Jiu stared at Du Hengyan, realizing he was also looking at her, his throat bobbing as if he were burning with an intense fire, wanting to devour her whole.
As she came to her senses and prepared to rise, a pair of strong arms wrapped around her tightly.
"Don't move."
Chi Mu Jiu could hear the restraint in his voice, his breathing slightly heavy. She dared not move again and remained in her position atop him.
At the same time, she felt the man's heat intensifying, as if it refused to relent and only grew stronger, wanting to break free from all constraints. The air around them seemed to thicken, an ambiguous atmosphere enveloping the two.
Her face pressed tightly against Du Hengyan's chest, she could hear his heart racing rapidly; the powerful beats seemed to narrate his inner desires.
"Do you know how enticing you are?"
He rubbed her small head with a hint of helplessness.
Chi Mu Jiu felt a bit apologetic but couldn't help teasing him back. "I really didn't mean to; it's all your fault for being so tempting. I got carried away by your beauty."
Du Hengyan was left speechless, thinking to himself that she was quite the little seductress.
"It’s getting late; we should sleep," he said.
"One person rests, but two people sleep together," Chi Mu Jiu replied playfully, her big eyes sparkling.
"Hmm?" Du Hengyan raised an eyebrow slightly, surprised by her words.
"Can't you hear what I'm implying? If you're not going to provide companionship for the night, then why did I spend so much money on you?"
Chi Mu Jiu tilted her head, grinning at him.
Du Heng Yan clicked his tongue in annoyance. Did this woman really think of him as just a bedmate? Yet, he wasn't genuinely angry.
He scooped her up in his arms. "Where's the room?"
"On the third floor, the first one."
Chi Mu Jiu tried hard to suppress a smile, but she just couldn't help it.
Du Heng Yan noticed her smirk and didn't feel angry; in fact, he felt inexplicably pleased.
As they entered the room, although the layout was simple, the furniture and bed suggested that it was not lacking in expense compared to the lavish decor outside.
Just then, Chi Mu Jiu emerged from the bathroom in her pajamas and nearly bumped into Du Heng Yan, who was coming in with his upper body still glistening from shower gel.
Du Heng Yan had just used the bathroom next door.
Seeing his perfect physique, Chi Mu Jiu couldn't help but exclaim in admiration. His broad shoulders and narrow waist were simply irresistible.
She unabashedly stared at Du Heng Yan.
He stepped closer, lifted her effortlessly, and casually turned off the lights.
"Time to sleep."
"You need to develop a good habit of keeping me company at night."
"Sweetheart, don't play with fire."
Du Heng Yan's voice carried a hint of warning.
"Wait, kiss me again—"
Before Chi Mu Jiu could finish her sentence, Du Heng Yan's lips descended upon hers.
In the darkness, their breaths intertwined, and the atmosphere grew increasingly charged with tension.
"Don't get it wrong; don't touch—"
