Du Heng Yan glanced at her, noticing her relaxed demeanor and the lack of intention to raise her bid again. He couldn't help but ask, "Are you just toying with them? I didn't expect it to be this easy to hook them in."
Chi Mu Jiu raised an eyebrow playfully, a smirk dancing on her lips, her eyes glinting with mischief. She had heard a bit about the auction market; at such a large event, if there were items that went unsold, it would be quite embarrassing for the hosts. The Ye family had treated her well enough, and since she was seated in such a prominent position, she needed to be a bit more astute.
This stone was indeed a good piece, but it wasn't what she desired most. At most, it was worth ten thousand; anything beyond that would be overvalued. She analyzed the situation seriously, her gaze still fixed on the stone.

Du Heng Yan thought to himself: This little one never stops talking. Yet his gaze was filled with indulgence and affection; he had long grown accustomed to Chi Mu Jiu's lively and playful nature.
Ultimately, the stone was sold for ten thousand.
On the other side of the hall, Ye Jue was discussing matters with Kai Kai, the partner for this auction. When he caught sight of the masked man in the corner of the room, he could no longer sit still.
