Chi Mu Jiu ignored him.
"Madam, I realize my mistake."
Chi Mu Jiu still didn’t respond, even quickening her pace.
"Let me touch your chest muscles."
"Chi Mu Jiu?!!"
In an instant, she obediently stopped, thinking to herself, "You really understand me."
All the way, Chi Mu Jiu leaned against Du Heng Yan’s solid shoulder like a lazy little cat. Occasionally, she would pinch Du Heng Yan's enviable chest muscles, feeling that this position was incredibly comfortable, as if she had found the most delightful source of happiness in the world.
Du Heng Yan silently allowed her to act so recklessly from start to finish. Chi Mu Jiu thought to herself that if it weren’t for her own confidence, she would feel embarrassed to touch Du Heng Yan’s chest muscles.
The sensation was simply amazing—better than touching her own, like caressing the softest clouds while also feeling a solid strength beneath. It was an entirely wonderful experience.
"Lost in thought again?"
Du Heng Yan raised an eyebrow slightly and gently tapped her on the head.
Chi Mu Jiu instinctively looked up at him, her eyes still carrying a hint of the fluster from being caught. Yet, her hands unconsciously continued to squeeze a couple of times.
Du Heng Yan felt somewhat helpless and had no choice but to grab her little paw that was still resting on his chest.
"Enough."
Chi Mu Jiu was reluctant and wore a face full of regret but had no choice but to retract her hand obediently. The imprint of her small paw was faintly visible on the fabric of his suit where she had touched.
Du Heng Yan slightly adjusted the wrinkles in his suit, and it returned to its original state.
Chimu Jiu slowly gazed outside, where a grand and magnificent building came into view. Before the solemn entrance, a thick red carpet was laid out, its vibrant hue hinting at the stories about to unfold, igniting the imagination.
The vehicle gradually slowed down, coming to a stop. Du Heng was the first to exit, his tall and upright figure resembling a striking sculpture. He slightly bent down, intending to extend his hand to assist Chimu Jiu out of the car.
Just as his hand was about to reach for the door handle, the entire vehicle trembled unexpectedly, as if being gently shaken by an invisible hand. Sitting inside, Chimu Jiu distinctly felt a faint yet undeniable force coming from the rear of the car, like a gentle breeze brushing against her back.
Fortunately, she remained seated, and the sudden jolt did not cause her to bump into anything.
What was happening?
It quickly dawned on her that they had likely been rear-ended. The driver, sensing something amiss, appeared anxious and hurriedly went to check the situation. Chimu Jiu turned to look back through the rear window and saw a luxurious sedan parked behind them. The distance between the two cars left no doubt that they had indeed been hit.
Before she could fully process this unexpected incident, a woman's voice floated in from outside, laced with a hint of delight: "Mr. Du, is that really you?! I’m so sorry for bumping into your car!"
The woman's voice was like an invisible hand, gently teasing at one's nerves. Though her tone carried an apology, it seemed to conceal some other emotion beneath the surface.
Chimu Jiu furrowed her brows slightly, a wave of strong displeasure rising within her. She sensed that she needed to take action in response to this woman’s presence!
