Chimu Jiu's voice rose a few notches, and the crimson in her eyes became more pronounced.

Listening to her, Du Heng Yan felt a mix of pain and joy in his heart. The pain came from knowing she wanted to take risks alongside him, while the joy stemmed from her profound feelings for him.
Slowly, Du Heng Yan lowered his head, his soft lips brushing against her cherry-like mouth.
Chimu Jiu froze in surprise.
She was about to say something when she was interrupted by Du Chengyan.
"Don't move, let me kiss you a little longer."
His voice was deep and gentle, filled with endless affection.

Chi Mu Jiu gently pushed him away.
"I have a cold; it’s contagious."
"For me, you would risk your life. How could you be afraid of just a cold?"
Du Chengyan held her tightly and kissed her lips again.
"Be good, you always fidget when I kiss you."
His tone carried a hint of helplessness but was full of love.
Chi Mu Jiu felt even more shy from his words, yet she no longer struggled and allowed him to kiss her tenderly.
"There are still four days left; you need to take good care of yourself."
Du Chengyan casually touched her forehead, which still felt a bit warm.
"I'm tired; I want to sleep," he said.
Compared to Du Chengyan's figure, she curled up in his arms like a little cat.
"You must fulfill your promise to me."
"Okay."
"What I meant was the keyboard."
"Yes, I know; I've already had someone deliver it home."
"What about the spicy strips?"
Du Chengyan couldn't help but chuckle at her cuteness.
