Years later, I saw Chen Zhaonian again. 0

He was mingling among a group of portly men, yet he still stood out. Without even trying to search for him, my gaze collided with his. However, I no longer felt the same urgency to meet his eyes as I once did. I merely glanced at him before shifting my attention away, smiling as I chatted with a classmate beside me. 0

My female classmate called my name a few times before I snapped back to reality. She lowered her voice and said, " Huiyan, you and Chen Zhaonian..." 0

Following her gaze, I found myself locking eyes with Chen Zhaonian once more. I smirked slightly, adopting a half-smile expression. 0

My classmate sighed, "I heard he's doing really well now, but he's already married." 0

"Is that so?" I chuckled softly. 0

I lifted my bottle of wine, intentionally turning to meet his gaze again. His expression darkened slightly. 0

I casually averted my eyes. 0

The classmates began to tease, "Cheng Huiyan, why don’t you clink glasses with President Chen?" 0

"Yeah, you two used to be the perfect couple in our school." 0

I discreetly observed Chen Zhaonian's reaction. He leaned back in his chair, looking relaxed as if he were watching an interesting play unfold. 0

I raised my glass and approached him. "President Chen, let me toast you." 0

He chuckled lightly, "Aren't you the one who can't drink?" 0

I looked at him with a dreamy expression, my tone playful as I replied, "If President Chen wants to toast me, how could I possibly refuse?" 0

We clinked glasses and downed our drinks in one go. 0

"Impressive drinking skills!" 0

Amid the raucous cheers, I set my cup down and said, "I'm going to the restroom." 0

I walked slowly in my high heels, the sharp clicks echoing against the floor. Suddenly, I stumbled as if I had twisted my ankle. 0

Chen Zhaonian quickly caught me. 0

I looked up at him, my gaze hazy. 0

He frowned and asked, "Cheng Huiyan, why are you drinking so much?" 0

I tiptoed closer to his ear and whispered in a tone only we could hear, "Aren't you the one who wanted me to drink?" 0

"What's wrong? Can't handle it?" 0

His expression changed abruptly as he gripped my arm tightly. "Cheng Huiyan, are you provoking me?" 0

I blinked innocently. "President Chen, you're hurting me." 0

I pushed him away forcefully and walked toward the restroom on my own. 0

Moments later, I heard footsteps approaching. 0

In the mirror, I caught a glimpse of Chen Zhaonian's darkened expression. 0

Before I could react, he yanked my arm and pulled me into a stall. 0

"Bang—" 0

With a loud crash, he pressed me firmly against the tiled wall. 0

Chen Zhaonian leaned down toward me, his lips grinding against mine. 0

I didn’t resist; instead, I wrapped my arms around his neck and deepened the kiss willingly. 0

He seemed wild, pinning me against the wall with relentless force. 0

Breathless, I whispered in his ear, "We should go out; there are people outside." 0

He suddenly lifted me up and kicked the door open. 0

At the end of the hallway was a bedroom; he kicked the door wide open and tossed me onto the bed, his body following closely behind. 0

In the darkness, I couldn't see his expression. His heavy breaths brushed against my ear. I reached out to unbutton his shirt and whispered, "President Chen, are you angry?" 0

He didn't answer; instead, he suddenly bit down on my lip with force. 0

"Mm..." I let out a soft sound. 0

Seizing the moment, he took control. I didn't resist; rather, I responded to him with enthusiasm. 0

A few hours later, he leaned close to my ear, breathing heavily as he said, "Cheng Huiyan, you're really something." 0

I reached out to caress his face and softly replied, "Isn't that why you sought me out, President Chen?" 0

He said nothing and simply got off the bed. 0

Moments later, the light turned on. He silently picked up his clothes and walked into the bathroom. 0

It wasn't until deep into the night that he finally fell asleep. I opened my eyes and gazed out at the thick darkness outside. 0

I quietly got up and opened a window. 0
