In the study of the Theodore Family mansion, candlelight flickered as Leon and Theodore furrowed their brows over a table full of documents. They had been tirelessly working on the family’s revitalization plan, and amidst the complex affairs, Leon had begun to notice some troubling details. 0

“Theodore, take a look at this trade report,” Leon said, pointing to a piece of parchment with a serious expression. “Recently, our transactions with the Southern Trade Caravan have faced frequent disruptions, and shipments have been delayed multiple times. There’s something more to this.” 0

Theodore took the report and began to read it carefully. “It is indeed strange. Our cooperation has always gone smoothly before; why are there suddenly so many issues?” His eyes reflected confusion and concern. 0

Leon pondered for a moment before speaking. “I suspect someone is sabotaging us. Our family’s revitalization plan has drawn the attention of certain forces; they might be trying to hinder our progress by disrupting our trade.” 0

To uncover the truth, Leon decided to personally visit the head of the Southern Trade Caravan. On a sunny morning, he brought Alex along to the caravan's encampment. The site was bustling with activity as workers moved back and forth, loading and unloading goods. 0

Leon found the caravan leader, Huck, a burly middle-aged man with a full beard. “Mr. Huck, good day. I am Leon from the Theodore Family,” Leon greeted politely. 0

Huck frowned slightly upon seeing Leon, a hint of barely perceptible tension flashing in his eyes. “Ah, Lord Leon, what brings you here?” His tone seemed somewhat dismissive. 0

Leon keenly sensed Huck's unease and replied calmly, “We’ve noticed some issues with our recent transactions with your caravan and would like to understand the specifics.” 0

Huck hesitated before responding. “Well… it’s been a bit rough on the roads lately; we’ve encountered some minor troubles, which is why shipments have been delayed.” 0

Leon fixed his gaze on Huck’s eyes and said, “Mr. Huck, our family has always enjoyed a good partnership with your caravan. I hope you can be honest with me. Is someone pressuring you behind the scenes?” 0

Huck's gaze faltered for a moment; after a brief silence, he sighed. “Lord Leon, to be frank, there is a mysterious force threatening us. If we continue cooperating with your family, it could bring trouble to our caravan.” 0

Leon felt a weight in his heart; his suspicions were confirmed. “Mr. Huck, rest assured we will not let your caravan fall into danger. But could you tell me what characteristics this mysterious force has?” 0

Huck pondered for a moment before saying, "They all wear black robes, making it hard to see their faces, and they act very secretly. They only appear at night, warning us not to have too much contact with your family." 0

After returning from the merchant camp, Leon immediately discussed countermeasures with Theodore. "Theodore, it seems our enemies have begun to take action. We must find out who this mysterious force is as soon as possible; otherwise, our revival plan will be severely impacted." Leon's tone was firm and decisive. 0

Theodore nodded in agreement. "I will arrange for the family's informants to investigate and see if we can uncover any clues." 0

In the days that followed, Leon continued to handle the family's business affairs while closely monitoring the progress of the investigation. He knew that at this critical moment, any detail could become the key to turning the situation around. 0

One day, Theodore hurried into the study, holding a piece of intelligence. "Leon, we have news. Our informants discovered that people in black robes frequently appear at an abandoned warehouse in town." 0

Leon took the intelligence and examined it closely. "Good. We cannot sit idly by. Tonight, we will confront these mysterious individuals." 0

As night fell, Leon, Theodore, and Alex led the family's elite guards stealthily toward the abandoned warehouse. The moonlight bathed them, outlining their resolute figures. 0

When they reached the vicinity of the warehouse, Leon signaled for everyone to hide. He carefully observed the movements around the warehouse and noticed a faint light flickering inside, with shadows occasionally moving about. 0

"Prepare for action," Leon whispered. The group cautiously approached the warehouse, and suddenly, at Leon's command, they charged inside. The mysterious individuals within clearly did not expect a sudden attack and were thrown into chaos. 0

Leon brandished his sword and engaged in fierce combat with the mysterious figures. During the fight, he noticed that although these individuals had sharp sword skills, they seemed to lack unified command. After a fierce battle, the mysterious figures fled in disarray. 0

Leon picked up a black robe left behind by one of them and examined it closely. "Theodore, these people may seem mysterious, but their strength is not impressive. I suspect they are merely hired thugs. We must quickly uncover who is pulling the strings behind this." 0

Theodore looked at Leon with admiration in his eyes. "Leon, with you here, we will surely overcome all difficulties." 0
