After meticulously planning their battle strategy, Leon and Theodore believed they had everything under control. However, fate played a cruel joke on them at that moment. The the Claudie Family somehow obtained intelligence about their plans and launched a surprise attack just as Leon and Theodore's troops were about to execute their strategy. 0

In the dead of night, a deafening roar of battle cries erupted outside the tents, and flames illuminated the entire camp in an instant. Leon awoke with a start, quickly rising to grab his sword before rushing out of the tent. Chaos reigned in the camp as soldiers from the the Claudie Family surged in like a tide, engaging in fierce combat with the soldiers of the Theodore Family. 0

"This is bad! We’ve been ambushed!" Leon thought anxiously as he swung his sword to fend off the approaching enemies while making his way toward Theodore's tent. Amidst the turmoil, he finally found Theodore, who was also fighting valiantly against the enemy, his face etched with anger and urgency. 0

"Leon, how did they know our plan?" Theodore shouted. 0

Leon shook his head. "Now is not the time for that; we need to find a way to break out!" 0

The two quickly rallied the soldiers around them, attempting to organize an effective resistance. However, the the Claudie Family had deployed a large force and was well-prepared, causing the soldiers of the Theodore Family to gradually fall into a disadvantage. 0

"We can't keep this up; we'll be annihilated!" Leon exclaimed as he watched more soldiers fall around him, panic rising within him. He quickly scanned the area and noticed that one side of the enemy's encirclement was relatively weak. "Theodore, we’ll break through over there!" 0

Theodore nodded, and together they led their remaining soldiers toward the weaker side of the enemy's encirclement for one last charge. In the heat of battle, Leon and Theodore took the lead, fighting bravely against their foes. Leon's swordsmanship was fierce; each strike claimed an enemy's life. Meanwhile, Theodore wielded his battle axe like a ferocious beast, causing enemies to scatter in fear wherever he went. 0

After a desperate struggle, they finally broke through the enemy's encirclement. However, the soldiers of the the Claudie Family did not relent in their pursuit; they chased closely behind. Leon and Theodore fled desperately into the darkness with their remaining soldiers. 0

As they ran, guilt filled Leon's heart. "It's all my fault; if I had been more cautious, this wouldn’t have happened." 0

Theodore patted Leon on the shoulder. "Now is not the time for self-blame; we must survive if we want a chance at revenge." 0

They fled along a rugged mountain path as the sounds of pursuing footsteps grew ever closer behind them. Suddenly, Leon spotted a cave ahead and had an idea. "Let’s hide in that cave; maybe we can shake them off." 0

After everyone took refuge in the cave, Leon and Theodore quickly set up defenses. They positioned the soldiers to hide on both sides of the cave, ready to catch the pursuing enemies off guard. Before long, soldiers from the the Claudie Family arrived at the entrance of the cave. Cautiously, they stepped inside, vigilantly scanning their surroundings. 0

Once all the enemies had entered the cave, Leon shouted, "Attack!" The soldiers hidden on either side sprang out like tigers descending from the mountains, engaging in a fierce close-quarters battle with the enemy. In the narrow confines of the cave, the enemy's numerical advantage could not be utilized, and Leon and Theodore led their soldiers to gradually gain the upper hand. After a fierce struggle, they successfully repelled the attackers. 0

However, Leon knew that the enemy would not give up easily; they had to leave quickly. Thus, they continued onward through another exit of the cave. In the darkness, they groped their way forward, unsure of how long they had been walking until they finally caught sight of a glimmer of light ahead. 0

When they emerged from the cave, they found themselves in an unfamiliar valley. Surrounded by mountains, it was eerily silent. Leon and Theodore looked at their exhausted soldiers, filled with concern. They understood that although they had temporarily escaped their pursuers during this retreat, they had also suffered heavy losses. The road ahead would be long; they needed to regroup and seek an opportunity for counterattack. In this strange valley, Leon and Theodore silently vowed to avenge their family's honor and the fallen soldiers, no matter how daunting the challenges ahead might be. They would press on without hesitation. 0
