I looked at the stairs going down and walked down without hesitation. I wanted to get out quickly, I wanted to leave this cycle. I went all the way down, but when I reached the end, I found that I had come to a waiting area. There were train tunnels on both walls here. But there was no exit here! I was back to square one again! I turned around, gritted my teeth, and ran in another direction. But not long after, I stopped. Because I couldn't run out at all. I could only bend over and support my knees with my hands, my chest heaving violently, and I sat down on the stairs with sweat dripping. I couldn't get out. I might be trapped here forever. In front of me was the elevator going up, and my hope was shattered along with the elevator going up. My shirt was soaked, and I felt like I had been washed by water. I was so anxious that I wanted to curse. But what's the use? I couldn't curse myself awake. I couldn't escape this cycle. I couldn't contact people outside. I tried. I called all the phones, whether it was the rescue phone or the phone of a friend. But when they answered the phone, they could only say one sentence.
"Hello, I am **. How can I assist you today?"
No matter who I called, it was always the same line.
I lay on the ground, staring up at the ventilation grate above me.
Perhaps this was a kidnapping or some sort of crime.
But in this situation, maybe I needed a breakthrough or perhaps I had to find some clues.
I waited on the floor for a while until it dried before standing up.
I thought back and realized there were no other suspicious places around.
I couldn't help but feel a bit frustrated.
Just moments ago, I had been happy about the possibility of getting out, and now I was regretting not finding any useful information.
Sighing, I lifted my foot and headed toward the train.
It's alright; I wasn't hopeless yet.
As long as I stayed attentive, I was sure I could uncover some clues.
Once I found those clues, I could break this cycle.
After I got out, I'd go to the temple to pray and dispel my misfortunes!
Once on the train, I needed to pay close attention to each stop and remember their names.
Oh right, I also had to carefully observe every passenger to see if they were like me—trapped here as well.
If that were the case, perhaps I could find some allies.
That’s the plan!
I had already figured out what to do next; now all that was left was to put it into action.
When I got off later, I'd need to closely examine the station signs and see if there was anything unusual about them.
I need to jot down all the clues I find; I refuse to believe I can't find a way out!
The train was moving quickly, and in less than a minute, I was back at the original station. I stood at the door waiting for the train.
This return trip was still empty. Although I had mentally prepared myself for this, I couldn't help but frown. Just as the Train Door was about to close, I hurriedly got off and walked across to the other side. This time, I was determined to find some clues!
Once again, it was the starting station. I casually stood in front of the nearest Train Door, waiting for the next train to arrive.
Soon, a train pulled into the station. I made a point to observe and noticed that there were very few passengers boarding this time. Counting myself, there were only seven people in total: a woman holding a child, an elderly woman dozing off, a young man playing on his phone, a Migrant Worker sitting in the corner, and a pair of young people who were wrestling with each other.
