Standing next to Feng Xunyu in the sticker photo is a handsome boy around seventeen or eighteen years old, who, like Feng Xunyu, is smiling brightly.
Both of them are wearing identical black T-shirts; the boy's shirt has "I love you" printed on it, while Feng Xunyu's shirt reads "Me too." They are holding hands, gazing at the camera, their genuine smiles radiating joy, resembling a sweet young couple.
"Is this your boyfriend?" Sixuan looks up at Feng Xunyu and asks. "I guess so," Feng Xunyu replies absentmindedly as he glances at the sticker photo, his attention quickly shifting back to the Seventh-Order Rubik's Cube.
"Did you break up?" Sixuan continues to inquire.
"Yeah," Feng Xunyu responds weakly.
"Why?" Sixuan presses on.
"I forgot," Feng Xunyu says irritably, shaking his head.
"What was his name?" Sixuan persists.
Feng Xunyu looks at Sixuan with a puzzled expression and shrugs helplessly. "I... I forgot. It was so long ago..."
"How did you two start?" At this moment, Sixuan resembles a sharp lawyer, pressing Feng Xunyu for answers.
"I..." Feng Xunyu glances at Sixuan again, takes a deep breath, and his emotions start to rise. "I really forgot!"
In an instant, Sixuan's eyebrows arch slightly as if he suddenly understands something. He stops questioning and looks seriously at Feng Xunyu, saying calmly, "Hand me the Magic Cube."
“Hmm?” Feng Xunyu paused for a moment, reluctantly handing the Seventh-Order Rubik's Cube over to Sixuan.
“Now, don’t ask anything. Just do as I say.” Before Feng Xunyu could respond, Sixuan continued, “First, remember the current state of this Magic Cube. You need to memorize the color of each square on every face completely.”
“How is that possible?” Feng Xunyu exclaimed, her eyes wide with disbelief.
“Don’t ask questions; just execute,” Sixuan shot her a cold glance.
Feng Xunyu was filled with confusion but dared not say more. She took the Magic Cube and focused on remembering its current state.
At first, she frowned, clearly struggling. After several seconds, however, she gradually fell into a trance. Her eyes sparkled with an unusual light as she stared intently at the Magic Cube, completely absorbed as if everything around her had vanished. After about a minute, Sixuan said, “Alright, now close your eyes.”
Feng Xunyu obeyed and shut her eyes. She then heard Sixuan say, “Now, restore the Magic Cube.”
“Ah?” Feng Xunyu gasped again. “In a state where I can’t see?”
“Yes, blindfolded,” Sixuan’s tone left no room for doubt.
“But…” Feng Xunyu began to protest.
“Execute,” Sixuan interrupted her succinctly.
Feng Xunyu furrowed her brow, as if suddenly realizing something. She stopped speaking, took a deep breath, and began to slowly turn the Magic Cube.
She turned the Magic Cube at an extremely slow pace, pausing for over ten seconds after each twist to think. Her fingers occasionally brushed over the squares of the Magic Cube, as if recalling the colors of each square and contemplating her next move. However, this state lasted only two minutes.
Two minutes later, Feng Xunyu's speed in manipulating the Magic Cube noticeably increased. She would turn it a few times before pausing to think for several seconds.
By the fifth minute, Feng Xunyu no longer needed to stop and think; instead, she was thinking while deftly maneuvering the Magic Cube with both hands, her movements fluid and seamless.
Although Sixuan could still see her actions clearly, he found them somewhat dazzling.
Just as they reached the seventh minute, Feng Xunyu suddenly tossed the Magic Cube onto the desk, leaning slightly forward with her hands braced on the surface. She was breathing heavily, her mind a blank, utterly chaotic. Meanwhile, Sixuan smirked slightly and said, "Open your eyes and take a look."
Feng Xunyu slowly opened her eyes and looked down, unable to suppress a gasp.
Before her were six faces, each a different color; the Seventh-Order Rubik's Cube had been completely restored.
"W-what's happening?" Feng Xunyu exclaimed in disbelief, her mouth agape as she struggled to close it.
"Still not getting it?" Sixuan said coolly, crossing his arms as he watched her. "Even if you gave Feng Xunyu a year or even ten years, she wouldn't be able to restore a Seventh-Order Rubik's Cube, let alone do it through blind manipulation in seven minutes."
"C-could it be..." Feng Xunyu's expression shifted slightly, her voice trembling as she instinctively took a small step back.
"Yes," Sixuan yawned and replied lazily, "you are not Feng Xunyu at all; your true identity is—Feng Guyu!"
