Zhang Chunhua had received quite the lesson from Father Shen, crying and wailing for half the night. After being beaten and exhausted from crying, she found herself hungry. When she went to the kitchen to check, she was met with a shocking sight.
The entire Shen Family was in disarray.
Zhang Chunhua was furious, cursing loudly, “Su Mingxian, you little kept woman! Where’s my meat? Where’s my meat—”

Zhang Chunhua was nearly beside herself with rage, while Su Mingxian calmly wiped her hands with a napkin and replied, "Yes, I know. It's a pity that I didn't get to eat any of the eggs she laid. Rather than let her go to waste, I thought it better to kill her for meat. Honestly, Old Hen tastes particularly good."
Zhang Chunhua was so furious she nearly fell over. Shen Qing secretly watched her, but when Liu Juan noticed, he immediately stepped on Shen Qing's foot hard, causing him to grimace in pain.
Liu Juan looked exasperated and said, "Sister-in-law, how can you do this? You didn't even make breakfast this morning, leaving our parents hungry while you feast all by yourself?"
Su Mingxian raised an eyebrow. "Didn't you all say my cooking was terrible? If that's the case, why don't you make your own meals? What do you mean by eating alone? This chicken was raised by me; none of you helped out. So why should it matter to you if I eat it? The pig is mine too.
