The summer sun was scorching, as if the earth itself was about to be baked to a crisp. Even the most diligent men in Nanping Village were hiding at home, taking their afternoon naps. It was simply too hot; working in the fields would likely lead to heatstroke.
At the eastern end of Nanping Village stood the only clinic in the village. However, there was only one doctor—a woman named Zhang Xuemei, who happened to be the wife of Zhu Jiarong, the village head.
Zhang Xuemei lived up to her name; her skin was as white as snow, and her large, watery peach blossom eyes could easily captivate any man's soul.
Although she had merely graduated from a nursing school, she had secured this well-paying and relatively easy job thanks to her husband's position.
"Xue Mei Sister, help!"
A cry for help jolted Zhang Xuemei awake from her sultry daydream. She had been dreaming of being with some man. It was no wonder; her deadbeat husband, taking advantage of his status as village head, often pursued other men's wives and indulged excessively, leaving her unsatisfied.
"Who? What happened?" Zhang Xuemei instinctively rushed out of the clinic upon hearing the call for help. As she focused her eyes, she realized it was Li Yufeng from the village. Li Yufeng's eyes were filled with tears as she supported a young boy.
"Yufeng, what happened?" Zhang Xuemei hurried over to lend a hand and finally recognized the boy she was helping. "Oh my, isn't this Xiao Qiang? What happened to him? Come on, let's get him inside."
The two women carefully laid Li Qiang on the clinic's bed.
"What happened to Xiao Qiang?" Zhang Xuemei asked.
Li Yufeng frowned and replied, "I don't know either. I asked him to watch over the watermelons in the field, but when it was time for dinner and he still hadn't come home, I got worried. Then I found him lying in the Gourd Shed, dazed and confused."
Zhang Xuemei pursed her lips thoughtfully; the mole at the corner of her mouth stood out prominently. She mused that Li Yufeng's words were vague—this situation surely wasn't as simple as it seemed.
In rural areas, there weren't many forms of entertainment aside from playing mahjong and gossiping. Zhang Xuemei was naturally fond of gossiping, and seeing a potential story unfold before her made her even more curious.
She coughed lightly, her expression troubled. "Yufeng, you have to understand that doctors are also human. If you don't tell me the real condition, I'm afraid I won't be able to help you."
Upon hearing this, Li Yufeng immediately grew anxious, a look of hesitation crossing her face.
When she saw Li Qiang, he was not wearing any pants, and on the cold bed lay a rather unsightly book. To make matters worse, his private part was swollen to an alarming size, thicker than a cucumber, with two bloody holes on it.
As a woman herself, she naturally understood what Li Qiang had been up to. She was inherently reserved and found it difficult to speak about such matters.
It was clear something was wrong! Zhang Xuemei noticed the expression on Li Yufeng's face and couldn't help but smirk inwardly. "I..." Li Yufeng opened her mouth but ultimately revealed the truth of the situation.
Zhang Xuemei felt disappointed upon hearing it; she had expected to hear about Li Yufeng's scandalous affairs but instead got stuck with Li Qiang's troubles.
Zhang Xuemei had no fondness for Li Qiang either. The boy was notorious in Nanping Village for being both mischievous and lecherous. At such a young age, he often peeped at women bathing and had even tried to sneak a look at Zhang Xuemei while she bathed on several occasions but was always caught in time.
"Xue Mei, you're skilled in medicine; please help Xiaoqiang. This child is still young... he mustn't be unable to have children in the future!" Li Yufeng's voice trembled with emotion.
Zhang Xuemei thought to herself that it would be better if he couldn't do such things; after all, he brought this upon himself with his lewd behavior. Though she thought this way in her heart, she said out loud, "Yufeng, just sit here for a moment. I'll go into the other room and examine him." With that, she took her medical kit and walked into the inner room.
Li Qiang's mind was clear, but his body felt utterly weak. He was filled with fear, terrified that he might never again be able to use his manhood.
All of this was actually the fault of that little green snake. Why did it have to bite him there of all places? Now, his manhood showed no response at all. As a man, and one who was passionate about women, he thought that if he truly could never use it again, death would be a better option.
While Li Qiang was lost in these troubling thoughts, the sound of high-heeled shoes clicking on the floor echoed from outside. He knew it was Aunt Xuemei coming to check on him.
Zhang Xuemei was one of the more fashionable women in the village, always dressed in trendy attire. Such a woman exuded maturity and charm, but above all, she had a provocative allure. Li Qiang often fantasized about her lying on the desk in the clinic, swaying her curvy figure while casting flirtatious smiles back at him, urging him to take her.
At that moment, when Zhang Xuemei walked in, her hair styled in soft waves and her face adorned with light makeup, especially the beauty mark at the corner of her mouth that added to her allure.

Suddenly, he felt as if his vision had blurred; instead of seeing the white coat before him, he was staring at a red sleeveless t-shirt!
What…? Li Qiang blinked hard, panic rising within him. Had he lost his mind? But when he opened his eyes again, the red t-shirt remained.
His mind froze in confusion.
