At that moment, Scar Monkey had a sudden inspiration. Using "singing" as an excuse, he carefully threw a specially marked branch into the spot where Wuchang Ghost had buried the murder weapon.
This seemingly casual act was laden with deeper meaning, as if he had planted a seed of hope in the darkness.
Later, the police, following the lead provided by Scar Monkey, indeed unearthed the bloodied weapon from that very spot.

In the hiking circles of Z City, everyone knew that during this year's May Day holiday, something bizarre had occurred along this very route. However, the police had temporarily sealed off information about it, and those who had experienced it firsthand remained tight-lipped.
Hei Hua Niu closely followed Scar Monkey throughout the journey, bombarding him with questions as she eagerly sought to uncover what had happened here a month ago.
