The wind blew past Elena's ears, sweeping her hair from behind to the front. William's gaze was so intense, the kind of emotion she had always hoped to receive from Osiris. At this moment, when it was within her grasp, she hesitated.
Elena Avoiding William, she felt anxious to express something, but her mouth seemed to be stuck, unable to open. The attendant had already started urging. William concealed his disappointment and showed a kind smile.
"Let's stop here for today, Elena. Please go back and think about it carefully, don't make a decision so quickly."
He whispered in her ear, "Give me a chance to show my goodwill to you."
William hurried away, and Elena watched his figure leave with the car's exhaust, her calm heart once again in turmoil.
"So, did you agree to it?"
Orlyeagerly wanting to hear the follow-up from their friend.
Eilena Snod, worth everything.
Only she doesn't think so.
"I don't know."
Elena covered her head awkwardly.
After confessing her feelings, William disappeared for three days. During those three days, every night after Elena fell asleep, she would dream of William's injured eyes.
She felt like a terrible person who played with other people's emotions.
"He is very good, gentle and considerate, mature and stable, but I really don't know." Elena's hair is about to be twisted into a twist by herself. She believes that she has a good feeling for William in her heart, but is that good feeling enough to be considered as liking him? Is it enough to be considered as love?
She doesn't know.
"I don't have any position to judge you either."
Orly wanted to console, but thinking about his own confusion, he fell silent.
Two people looked at each other and sighed deeply.
"So, what should we do about this?"
After a long silence, Orly shook off an Invitation letter that had been delivered to the door.
The signature is accompanied by Prince William's unique royal seal.
This is a very formal invitation.
The letter was delivered this morning while everyone in the house was having breakfast at the dining table.
"Hey, I said it, His Highness is serious about our Elena." Gert proudly slammed the table, looking particularly excited.
He seemed to think he had played a hand in a good match, looking at Elena across from him, seeking praise.
"Elena, Dad doesn't oppose you two dating."
Mr. Snowd also looked at Elena, and in his calm gray eyes, there was something that Elena couldn't understand.
"I, I'm full."
Being stared at by everyone, especially Gert's reaction was too much, Elena didn't know how to react.
So she ran away.
But now, what should I do about the date invitation?
Elena thought for a long time.
She is not sure about her feelings, but she also doesn't want to be like a deserter, always running away. If she and William really have a chance to develop, maybe she should give each other a chance. Just like William said, at least give it a chance.
On the eve of the date, it rained. The rain swept away the dry heat from the ground, and the cool moisture eased the increasingly warm weather just right. Elena didn't dress up deliberately, she wore the simplest T-shirt and jeans, and brought a baseball cap.
A neat short hair peeked out from under the hat, and a casual French bangs swayed out from under the brim. Although her outfit looked like that of an ordinary girl, any item she carried would be too expensive for an average person to afford. "Hey, Elena, take this."
Maxim threw something out of the open door, and Elena reflexively bent her leg to catch it. It was a car key with a gray fur ball pendant. "A gift for you, a belated one."
Maxim Pale face with a warm smile.
The painted burgundy sports car seems like a rich wine, dazzling.
Elena Shaking a cute pompom, couldn't help but run back and give Maxim a big hug.
"I love you to death."
The sports car swaggered all the way, and Elena was still ten minutes late when she arrived at the destination.
She tossed the car keys to the doorman and looked for William's figure.
"I thought you wouldn't come."
Elena was startled when someone patted her shoulder, and she turned around to see William smiling at her.
Unlike his usual dignified appearance, today he seemed more approachable than usual, dressed in a casual manner.
"You look so different, I almost didn't recognize you."
Taking a seat, Elena still had her hand over her mouth, unable to recover from her surprise.
William awkwardly tugged at his black short hair.
"Your hair—" Elena realized that pointing at someone was impolite and awkwardly withdrew her finger. "Is it nice?" William smiled shyly.
"You look great." Elena sincerely complimented.
