Ye Ya was infuriated with Jing Hao. He had suggested calling the police, but now, if something happened to them in this alley, no one would know. 0

Looking at the situation, Ye Ya lowered her voice as much as possible. "You take on one, and I'll handle three. We need to escape." 0

"Okay," Jing Hao could only trust Ye Ya. He never imagined he would need to rely on a woman, especially one he had previously broken off an engagement with. He was even more surprised by how fierce Ye Ya was. He couldn't help but wonder if his life would have been different had he married her. 0

The two of them engaged in battle once more. Jing Hao managed to draw the fire of one attacker, partly because he was being targeted himself. Ye Ya faced off against three burly men alone, and it was quite a sight to behold. 0

In such a situation, they had to act quickly. Ye Ya decided to go all out, throwing punches and kicks without mercy, though she also sustained some injuries. 0

About ten minutes later, two of the three men lay incapacitated on the ground, leaving only one standing. Ye Ya was exhausted but pushed herself onward through sheer willpower. 0

In a showdown between skilled fighters, victory often came down to a single decisive move. With all her strength, Ye Ya finally subdued the last man. She turned to see Jing Hao sitting there with a wooden stick, looking utterly useless. She had no choice but to approach him; this situation was too serious to ignore—she needed to call the police. 0

Jing Hao grabbed her arm. "Don't call the police. Making this a big deal won't help anyone. I didn't know that woman was Long Ge's; offending Longmen will ruin me." 0

"Jing Hao, you’ve done nothing but bring me trouble your whole life. Fine, you deal with this mess yourself," Ye Ya bit out angrily, furious that she had fought off three men for this idiot. 0

Just then, Lu Tianyang drove up and parked his car nearby. He had come looking for Ye Ya but was taken aback to see her and Jing Hao in such disarray. 0

"Cousin, I'm sorry; it's all my fault," Jing Hao said sheepishly when he saw Lu Tianyang. 0

Lu Tianyang frowned slightly and shot a glare at Jing Hao before wrapping his arms around Ye Ya's shoulders. "What happened? Who picked a fight with you? Are you hurt?" 0

Ye Ya winced slightly as he touched her shoulder. "It hurts a bit; be gentle. I'm fine; it's over now. But your cousin's issue isn't resolved yet. I don't want to deal with it anymore; Jing Hao, take care of yourself." 0

Jing Hao dared not say another word—not only because Lu Tianyang was present but also because it felt humiliating to rely on a woman for protection. 0

Lu Tianyang lifted Ye Ya into his arms and glanced at Jing Hao, who looked even worse for wear. "Get yourself home; don’t expect me to give you a ride." 0

Jing Hao could no longer stay here; what if someone came out to chase him again? This matter was far from resolved, so he could only head home. 0

Ye Ya was shoved into the car by Lu Tianyang. Throughout the ride, the man wore a stern expression. After a long afternoon of work, she had just fought off four people single-handedly and was utterly exhausted. Lu Tianyang didn’t want to talk to her, and she took the hint, falling asleep shortly after. 0

Lu Tianyang had intended to teach her a lesson, but this woman fell asleep before they even got home. The car stopped in front of the house, and seeing her like this, he let out a soft sigh. He considered carrying her out of the car, but just then, Ye Ya woke up. 0

“Now that we’re home, I need to take a shower. If Chen Chen sees me like this, she’ll think I just came back from a refugee camp.” Ye Ya ignored Lu Tianyang’s dark expression. 0

Lu Tianyang followed Ye Ya inside. When Guo Ma saw her appearance, she was startled. “Lady, what happened to you?” 0

“It’s nothing. I’m just going to take a shower; don’t worry,” Ye Ya waved her hand dismissively. 0

Noticing the young master’s displeasure, Guo Ma wisely chose not to ask further. 0

“Guo Ma, prepare some food and bring it up.” He hadn’t eaten either and figured this woman hadn’t eaten as well. She still had the energy to fight with others, especially for Jing Hao. Lu Da Shao Ye was extremely displeased. Once he found out where she was hurt, he would definitely teach her a good lesson; she was becoming more and more unreasonable. 0

After Ye Ya finished her shower and came out, she saw a spread of food laid out on the table. She walked over and sat down. “Lu Tianyang, how did you know I was hungry?” 0

Lu Tianyang remained silent as they ate together. Halfway through the meal, Ye Ya felt something was off; she thought for a moment about how Lu Tianyang hadn’t said much at all. Wasn’t he usually more talkative? 0

“Lu Tianyang, why aren’t you saying anything?” Ye Ya asked, biting her chopsticks. 0

“Just eat,” Lu Tianyang replied curtly. They finished their meal in silence before the servant came up to clear the table. 0

Ye Ya wanted to go check on Chen Chen but was called back by Lu Tianyang. “Ye Ya, come here.” 0

“What do you want? I just want to see Chen Chen,” Ye Ya said in confusion. This man had been giving her the cold shoulder since they got in the car; what did that mean? 0

“Come here,” Lu Tianyang repeated in an unquestionable tone. Ye Ya had no choice but to obediently walk over and sit down at the other end of the sofa. 0

“Come a little closer,” Lu Tianyang said with a cold expression. Ye Ya felt a bit uncomfortable and shifted slightly toward him. 0

“Why do you have to get so close? If you have something to say, just say it. I can’t guess,” she replied, finding it hard to get used to his anger. 0

Lu Tianyang grabbed her and began unbuttoning her top. She had just finished showering and was wearing comfortable home clothes. 0

“Hey, what are you doing?” Ye Ya exclaimed, holding onto his hand. He was acting like a complete pervert right from the start. 0

“I’m checking, Ye Ya. I advise you to behave; don’t provoke me again. Otherwise, I’ll make sure you can’t get out of bed for three days and see if you still have the strength to fight with others.” 0

What a creep, Ye Ya cursed inwardly. Now she understood why he was angry—he disapproved of her fighting. But wasn’t she doing it for him? If it weren’t for Jing Hao being his cousin, would it even matter? 0

“No, I’m fine. It doesn’t hurt,” Ye Ya insisted as she tried to pull her clothes back together, realizing he had already undone most of her buttons. 0

“Ye Ya, don’t make me remind you of the consequences,” Lu Tianyang said sternly as he pressed her hand down onto the sofa and continued to unfasten her clothing. 0

He pulled off her top and even yanked down her pants. When he saw the bruises on her arms and shoulders, his expression darkened. Ye Ya felt a bit scared; she had never seen him like this before. 0

“I’m really okay; it doesn’t hurt,” she tried to explain, acutely aware of his anger. 0

“Stay right here and don’t move. Otherwise, I’ll break your legs and see if you can still go out causing trouble,” Lu Tianyang shouted before storming out. 0

Ye Ya quickly pulled her clothes back on. This man was really angry—was he upset about her fighting? After a while, Lu Tianyang returned with a first aid kit. Ye Ya realized he was going to treat her injuries. 0

“Take off all your clothes; not a single piece can stay on, Ye Ya. Don’t test my patience any further,” he said as he set the kit down, leaving no room for argument. She looked at him and reluctantly began to undress again, thinking about how he had seen everything before; it would be fine. 0

“And don’t forget your underwear; I won’t say it again. My patience is running out,” Lu Tianyang added, his tone still serious but without urgency. 0

“That part is definitely fine, Lu Tianyang. Why are you being so perverted?” Ye Ya shot him an annoyed glance. 0

"Stop talking nonsense. You never listen and just cause trouble all day long. Ye Ya, are you still a three-year-old child?" Lu Tianyang's frustration grew as he spoke, almost wishing he could replace Ye Ya's head with a smarter one. 0

Ye Ya looked at him, resembling an old woman. "Lu Tianyang, why are you being so verbose?" She shifted closer, cupping his face and kissing his lips. After a moment, she released him. "No more scolding me. It wasn't intentional that I got into a fight." 0

Lu Tianyang was taken aback; getting this woman to take the initiative was no easy feat. Seeing his dazed expression, Ye Ya couldn't help but chuckle softly. 0

He shot her a glare, not letting her off the hook so easily. "Turn around." With dark circles under his eyes, Lu Tianyang was fuming. "What does Jing Hao's mess have to do with you? Why are you helping him so much?" 0

In truth, Lu Tianyang was jealous and hurt. The thought that she would fight for another man was simply too much for him to bear. 0

She frowned slightly. "Be gentler; it hurts." 0

Unintentionally, Lu Tianyang eased his grip, but he couldn't let the bruises remain like this. 0

"You know it hurts," he said, displeased. 0

"He's your cousin. Do you really expect me to stand by while they hurt him? You have no idea how much I dislike him. If it weren't for him back then, I wouldn't have met you, this devil," Ye Ya bit her lip. One misstep led her to Lu Tianyang—was that fate? 0

Lu Tianyang raised an eyebrow. Was he supposed to thank Jing Hao for this? Unbelievable. 0

"From now on, don't stick your neck out for others. Look at you—still aware of pain," he turned her back around, noticing even more bruises on her arms. 0

"You don't know pain; I'm heartbroken over this disobedience," Lu Tianyang sighed as he applied some medicinal alcohol to her wounds. 0

"Lu Tianyang, he's still family. If I hadn't intervened back then, those people would have definitely broken his hands. They won't let Jing Hao off so easily; that bastard dared to pursue the boss of Longmen's woman. Do you think he's asking for death?" The name Jing Hao truly lived up to his reputation as a playboy. 0

"Stay out of it; I'll handle it myself. You're foolish—where's that cleverness you usually have when dealing with me? It hurts? Well, there's nothing to be done; it has to be rubbed out so you'll learn to listen." 0

For some reason, this fierce man made Ye Ya feel warm inside. She shifted closer and wrapped her arms around his waist. "It doesn't hurt as much now, Lu Tianyang; you're really wonderful." 0

Listening to her words, he felt a mix of amusement and exasperation. "You only just realized? I've always treated you well, you ungrateful woman." 0

Seeing the bruises on her fair thighs, Lu Tianyang's anger flared. So what if he was the boss of Longmen? How dare anyone lay a hand on his woman? 0

"I feel even worse now. Be gentler; it hurts," Ye Ya said, frowning slightly. She hadn’t expected to be injured in so many places. After all, she was just a woman who had fought against four men—quite impressive in its own right. 0

Lu Tianyang listened to her and noticed how she squirmed. He thought it was time to teach her a lesson and see if she'd dare to act like this again in the future. 0

His hand began to wander higher, and Ye Ya was taken aback. She grabbed his wrist with one hand. "Lu Tianyang, there's no injury there; stop touching me." 0

"Oh really? I need to check for myself to believe you," Lu Tianyang replied, placing the medicinal alcohol on the table, ready to inspect her thoroughly. 0

"I don’t want to! Pervert!" Ye Ya quickly squeezed her legs together. She knew this man was using the pretense of a check-up as an excuse to take advantage of her; she didn’t trust him at all. 0

"Be obedient, or you'll regret it later. Let's see if you remember this lesson," Lu Tianyang said, easily subduing her. 0
