Their plane was forced to land on a tarmac several hundred meters off the main flight path. They had no idea what had just happened in the cockpit; it wasn't until they stepped out of the cabin that they noticed over twenty helicopters surrounding them.
The scene was truly spectacular!
Qiao Nuo thought about how Jin Chengyan would come looking for her, but she never expected him to arrive so quickly and with such a grand display. It wouldn't be long before rumors spread that Qin Cheng's Jin Shao was chasing after his wife, deploying over twenty helicopters! It was quite the spectacle!
However, Qiao Nuo didn't think this was something worth boasting about. Jin Chengyan's grand gesture was merely an attempt to bring her back with him.
Why go back? There was no love between them. Until she regained her memories, she didn't want to follow him blindly!
Even if she liked him!
Yan Beiting frowned slightly as he looked at the twenty or so helicopters surrounding them. If Jin Chengyan wanted to take Qiao Nuo away, he would need wings to do so!
In the past, Jin Chengyan had never gone to such lengths for Ruan Shengyu.
On the other hand, Ji Xining wore an excited expression. Although she came from a wealthy family, seeing over twenty helicopters appear at once for Qiao Nuo felt thrilling and romantic!
If someone came for her like that, she would definitely be moved to tears!
“Qiao Nuo, from this angle, your husband looks quite handsome!” Ji Xining said, linking her arm with Qiao Nuo's as she watched Jin Chengyan stride over from one of the helicopters.
Dressed in a black suit and wearing sunglasses, Jin Chengyan looked dashing and tall, walking against the sunlight as if he possessed the courage to take on the world.
This striking Jin Chengyan was walking towards her alone.
“Yan An City, if this plane is taking off soon to return to Qin Cheng, then we part ways here. Goodbye.” With that, Qiao Nuo took Ji Xining's hand and descended the ladder without even giving Yan Beiting a chance to say goodbye.
Ji Xining glanced back at Yan Beiting before looking at Qiao Nuo again.
“Qiao Nuo, are you worried that your husband will misunderstand your relationship with Yan Beiting? Even at this moment, you're still considering your husband. Should I say you love Jin Chengyan, or should I say you love Jin Chengyan?” Ji Xining's words struck right at the heart of the matter for Qiao Nuo.
Qiao Nuo didn’t turn around; she couldn’t look at Yan Beiting standing by the cabin door.
Though she couldn’t recall why she was so fixated on this, now that she was Jin Chengyan’s wife, she couldn’t give Yan Beiting any hope!
By the time they descended the ladder, Jin Chengyan had approached them.
He took off his sunglasses, and his gaze was solely on Qiao Nuo.
“I’m here to take you home.” His voice was calm, as if Qiao Nuo’s sudden disappearance a couple of days ago was no big deal, just her having fun with friends, and now he was there to take her home!
“Um... I feel like you’re not here to take Qiao Nuo home; it’s more like you’re threatening her to come back with you,” Ji Xining remarked. While she initially thought it was impressive that Jin Chengyan had sent so many planes to pick up Qiao Nuo, it didn’t mean she could accept such behavior.
Wasn’t this an outright threat? If Qiao Nuo didn’t willingly go with Jin Chengyan, he would surely resort to force. What could a woman like Qiao Nuo do to resist?
Listening to Ji Xining, Qiao Nuo remained silent, perfectly conveying her stance.
However, Jin Chengyan paid no mind to Ji Xining. The Ji siblings seemed equally annoying; once he caught Ji Nuan Yang in a bind, he would see how they continued to flaunt themselves.
“Come back with me. We can resolve our issues ourselves; avoiding them won’t make them go away.” Jin Chengyan disliked leaving problems unresolved overnight—who knew what might happen in just one night?
“I can’t go back with you right now,” Qiao Nuo said softly. “I have work here.”
Though her tone lacked strength, resistance was still resistance, causing Jin Chengyan to pause momentarily.
“Work? What kind of work?” What work could Qiao Nuo possibly have? Her job was under the Jin umbrella; he was the head of the company and she was his wife. Couldn’t he arrange for her to go on business trips?
“Yes! So I can’t go back with you. As for our issues, they’ve existed for a long time. What difference does it make whether we resolve them today or tomorrow? Besides, I think your problems with others need to be addressed sooner rather than later.” Qiao Nuo’s words were not overtly clear, but anyone in the know understood what she meant.
Jin Chengyan and other people's affairs, what kind of matters are they?
Without waiting for Jin Chengyan's response, Qiao Nuo took his silence as agreement. She grabbed Ji Xining and walked away from him towards the distance.
How did the plane make an emergency landing here, still quite a distance from the airport's main entrance?

Meanwhile, Yan Beiting, who had been standing at the door of the private jet, was astonished by Jin Chengyan's domineering behavior! He wanted to rush down to rescue Qiao Nuo, but the members of the Jin family firmly restrained him at the door, forcing him into the private jet and compelling the pilot to take off immediately back to Qin Cheng!
On Jin Chengyan's shoulder, Qiao Nuo felt utterly humiliated and wished she could dig a hole to hide in. What did it mean for him to spank her? What did it mean for him to carry her in front of so many people? He tossed her into the helicopter, closed the cabin door, and pinned her down in her seat with a gaze that seemed ready to devour her whole—what did that signify?
"Qiao Nuo—" Ji Xining stood alone on the tarmac, shouting towards the helicopter that Qiao Nuo had entered. The whirring of the rotor made her voice grow fainter and fainter. "Jin Chengyan, let go of Qiao Nuo! Otherwise, I’ll make sure my brother doesn’t let you off easy—"
But what could she do? No one could hear her voice.
Soon after, more than twenty helicopters took off one after another, ascending into the sky!
"What are you doing?!" Qiao Nuo watched as the helicopters slowly rose, a sense of helplessness washing over her. She had only been in C City for a few minutes, and already Jin Chengyan was taking her away! Was he always this domineering?
"Can't you tell? I'm taking you home," Jin Chengyan replied matter-of-factly.
Qiao Nuo felt like she could spit blood from anger. At first, she thought Jin Chengyan had come back to find her in a more rational way, but now he was acting like a bandit, simply abducting her!
"I don't want to go back with you! Do we have any relationship? What right do you have to take me away?" Qiao Nuo was so furious that she couldn't choose her words carefully; Jin Chengyan's actions had completely thrown her off balance.
Inside the helicopter, the noise was deafening. The pilot and co-pilot wore headsets and couldn't hear what Jin Chengyan and Qiao Nuo were saying—or if they did, they pretended not to.
However, Qiao Nuo kept her voice low out of consideration for the others in the cabin. After lowering her voice, Jin Chengyan could only see her lips moving, unable to make out what she was saying.
What should a man do when a woman keeps chattering away?
Kiss her! The simplest and most direct method!
Jin Chengyan pulled Qiao Nuo into his arms, one hand gripping the back of her head, and leaned in to kiss her!
From the moment he came to pick her up at the C City airport, it had taken her by surprise. He had carried her into the helicopter, and now he was kissing her without any explanation—everything was beyond Qiao Nuo's expectations.
Wasn't he supposed to like Ruan Shengyu? He even married her for ulterior motives. How could such a man be kissing her now?
Naturally, Qiao Nuo refused. This inexplicable feeling made her extremely uncomfortable!
She pounded on Jin Chengyan's chest with all her might, trying to make him let go of her.
Qiao Nuo's fists had some strength behind them, enough that Jin Chengyan found it hard to withstand. He had no choice but to release her lips while grabbing hold of Qiao Nuo's hands that were furiously hitting him.
“Now it seems you prefer a more intense approach!” Jin Chengyan leaned close to Qiao Nuo's ear, and because he was so near, she could hear every word he said.
However, after a moment of reaction, Qiao Nuo grasped the deeper meaning behind his words.
“Jin Chengyan, you rogue!” Everything he was doing felt completely out of character for him; it was more like the behavior of a… downright bandit!
To her surprise, Jin Chengyan didn’t get angry but instead laughed, holding her tightly in his embrace.
“You’ve seen me act like a rogue before.” His hand roamed over her waist, and through the thin fabric of her clothing, she could feel the heat radiating from his palm.
In front of them were two men piloting the helicopter, with no barriers between them. As Jin Chengyan spoke such words to her at that moment, Qiao Nuo felt her face flush bright red, wishing she could just dig a hole and hide!
Qiao Nuo struggled in Jin Chengyan's arms; if they maintained this position, the two men in front would surely turn around and see them—how embarrassing that would be!
But Jin Chengyan refused to let go of her. As she squirmed in his embrace, it seemed to touch a nerve within him, causing his expression to shift slightly… awkwardly?
“Qiao Nuo, stop moving.” Jin Chengyan whispered reproachfully. This wasn’t a good place; although the two men were wearing headphones and there was considerable noise inside the helicopter, he wasn’t accustomed to behaving that way in unfamiliar settings…
Qiao Nuo didn’t pick up on Jin Chengyan’s discomfort; she continued to struggle, desperate to escape his hold. She wanted off this helicopter!
“Let go of me! Do your family know how domineering you are? You’ve kidnapped me from C City! Don’t you realize I was just going to work? I don’t want to…” be with you.
Before she could finish her sentence, she felt something pressing against her. Her face flushed even deeper!
Jin Chengyan, this creature driven by primal instincts, was reacting to her in the helicopter with two men still in front of them.
Seeing Qiao Nuo’s face change so rapidly made her freeze. She sat quietly yet anxiously in his arms, which relieved Jin Chengyan.
Finally, this little one had stopped moving!
"I was just thinking, if you move again, no matter where we are, I'll take care of you!" Jin Chengyan said, one hand slipping into Qiao Nuo's clothing, skillfully finding what he desired.
Qiao Nuo closed her eyes and buried her head in Jin Chengyan's shoulder. It was truly too embarrassing.
Fortunately, she was facing away from the two pilots in front; otherwise, watching them would only make her more nervous!
But the most infuriating one was still Jin Chengyan. How could he do this at a time like this?
"Let me go!" Qiao Nuo whispered. If this continued, who knew if he would lose control? It would take them two hours to return to Qin Cheng; did that mean they would be like this for the entire two hours?
However, Jin Chengyan did not let her go. His nose brushed against Qiao Nuo's neck as he murmured, "Can you bear to see me like this?" His hoarse voice struck Qiao Nuo's heart like a spell.
How could she refuse such a man? Moreover, she felt that she liked Jin Chengyan, giving her even less reason to reject him!
But… this man was unpredictable. She didn't know if after this moment of intimacy, Jin Chengyan would change again.
She didn't like it this way.

"Just suffocate already!" Qiao Nuo said harshly, pushing against Jin Chengyan's shoulder to get him away from her neck, which tingled from his touch.

"You—" Qiao Nuo tried to struggle but couldn't break free. His grip was too tight, and she wanted to shout at him but feared being overheard by the two in front. Yet the steady pressure in her hand made her feel an overwhelming sense of shame!
"Don't make a sound. Do you want everyone to know?" He pressed his forehead against hers and whispered.
This man! Clearly, he was the one seeking that outcome yet still wanted her to stay quiet!
Jin Chengyan knew that Qiao Nuo was shy, so he decided to take it easy. He coaxed and teased her until she finally relented, allowing him to feel comfortable. In the end, his voice was perfectly muffled as they kissed.
After that encounter, Qiao Nuo was completely flustered. She refused to speak, no matter how Jin Chengyan tried to engage her; she simply ignored him.
However, Qiao Nuo was surprised to find that the helicopter did not head towards Qin Cheng but instead landed on the rooftop helipad of a five-star hotel in C City. The two pilots disembarked first, leaving the space for Qiao Nuo and Jin Chengyan.
Jin Chengyan was clearly unsatisfied; how could he have been fulfilled by what had just happened?
Once everyone else had left, Jin Chengyan became increasingly bold, pressing Qiao Nuo down and taking what he desired.
When Qiao Nuo finally woke up, she realized she was lying in the presidential suite of the hotel, feeling refreshed but completely naked.
Memories flooded back—of their time in the helicopter, in the elevator, in the bathroom, and finally in bed…
Why had she ended up succumbing to Jin Chengyan when she had intended to refuse him?
Ashamed, she buried her head under the covers, but then a voice came from nearby.
"Stop hiding; I've seen every inch of you."
Blushing fiercely, Qiao Nuo pulled the blanket down from her head and saw Jin Chengyan standing there in nothing but a pair of suit pants, unzipped and with his shirt hanging loosely on him as if it could be blown away by a gust of wind. The sight of his bare chest beneath the unbuttoned shirt was enough to make her heart race!
There were still marks on his chest from where she had clawed at him earlier.
Seeing this made Qiao Nuo retreat back under the covers once more.

Qiao Nuo felt like she might just die from embarrassment, refusing to come out from under the blanket.
The man, satisfied after their encounter, felt a wave of joy wash over him. He had just experienced a connection with Qiao Nuo that was unlike anything he had felt before, a clear indication that the woman in his bed still held him in her heart.
He zipped up his pants, not bothering to button his shirt, and walked over to sit on the edge of the bed, pulling the blanket down from Qiao Nuo's face.
“Get up quickly; I’m taking you out tonight. Didn’t you say you wanted to come to work?” Jin Chengyan's voice was filled with delight, but the more cheerful he sounded, the more shy Qiao Nuo felt.
She immediately turned away from him, burying her head deeper into the blanket.
With her movement, her smooth back was exposed. Jin Chengyan couldn’t help but swallow hard at the sight of Qiao Nuo’s delicate skin. It was as if he were a man who hadn’t seen a woman in centuries; all he could think about was wanting to be with her again, needing to be with her.
This was an experience Jin Chengyan had never encountered before!
His hand gently brushed against Qiao Nuo's back, eliciting a soft gasp from her.
“If you don’t get up soon, I wouldn’t mind having another round with you… or maybe two… or three…”
At his words, Qiao Nuo sprang up instantly. The velvet blanket slipped off her body, exposing her creamy skin to the air.
All of her beauty was laid bare before Jin Chengyan's eyes.
“How about we skip going out and just stay here in the hotel instead…”
“Could you be a little less of a rogue? I feel completely drained because of you. Can I… have some restraint…” Qiao Nuo pulled the blanket back up to cover herself.
Jin Chengyan chuckled softly, caressing Qiao Nuo’s face. “But sweetheart, you’re just too beautiful. When I’m with you, I can’t think of anything else!”
He was utterly captivated, feeling more and more enchanted by her presence!
Qiao Nuo didn’t know whether to be angry or flustered!
"Get away, I need to get dressed!" Qiao Nuo pushed Jin Chengyan away, got out of bed, and wrapped herself in the blanket, not allowing him to see her.
Jin Chengyan's laughter grew more pronounced, and Qiao Nuo's little tantrum only made him happier. Why had he never noticed how adorable she was before?
After washing up, Qiao Nuo stepped out to find a row of high-end custom gowns displayed outside the suite. Where on earth was he planning to take her today?
Dressed in a tailored suit, Jin Chengyan stood in front of the array of clothes, looking exceptionally handsome.
Describing Jin Chengyan as a refined rogue was the perfect fit.
In his suit, he was the epitome of a serious businessman, a strategist making critical decisions. But without it, Qiao Nuo couldn't help but think he was utterly shameless!
She was still in the hotel bathrobe, having completely lost track of where her clothes had gone after Jin Chengyan had taken them off.
"How about this one?" Jin Chengyan suggested, holding up a royal blue strapless gown. But before Qiao Nuo could respond, he dismissed it. "No way, it's a bit chilly; you can't wear a strapless dress."
The main issue was that the strapless design revealed too much skin; he couldn't let anyone else see her beautiful figure.
Last time Qiao Nuo wore the gown Ji Nuan Yang had gifted her, her entire back had been exposed. So many men had stared at her then that Jin Chengyan had nearly wanted to gouge their eyes out!
"This one looks good!" Jin Chengyan picked up another gown with a collar and three-quarter sleeves.
Qiao Nuo had no objections. "But where are you taking me?"
"I heard from people at the company that you signed a contract with Ji Nuan Yang. I’ve told you before that Ji Nuan Yang is nothing but a shrewd businessman; if you collaborate with him, he’ll strip you bare! I’m here to keep an eye on things."
Jin Chengyan had initially planned to take Qiao Nuo back to C City without worrying about Ji Nuan Yang or any collaboration. Did she really need all that when she could simply be his partner?
Wasn’t it better to quietly enjoy being the boss's wife?
But thinking about it, if Qiao Nuo really wanted to do this, or one day suddenly remembered, things would become much simpler.
Qiao Nuo listened to Jin Chengyan and felt a bit surprised. Was he planning to help her?

The upper part of the dress is modest because all the highlights are on her legs! The slit goes all the way up to her waist! As Qiao Nuo walked, one long, fair leg was revealed, peeking out from under the large skirt, more tantalizing than if it were fully exposed!
“Ahem... This dress doesn’t look good; it makes you seem older. Change into another one,” Jin Chengyan said with a slight frown.
Qiao Nuo looked down and didn’t agree. “What do you mean? Isn’t this color nice?” She had no idea what strange thoughts were running through Jin Chengyan’s mind.
“Not nice,” Jin Chengyan replied with a serious face.
With some doubt, Qiao Nuo went to change into another dress.
As Jin Chengyan looked at the row of dresses, he suddenly laughed. When did he become so concerned about what Qiao Nuo wore?
In the past, when Ruan Shengyu acted with someone in intimate scenes or bed scenes, or when she attended award ceremonies or events wearing revealing outfits, Jin Chengyan would feel a bit unhappy but never like this. He truly couldn’t bear to let anyone else see her!
What a strange form of masculinity.
In the end, Qiao Nuo wore a dress that was conservative from top to bottom and front to back; nothing that shouldn’t be revealed was shown. Even what should have been exposed was tightly wrapped inside.
