Upon returning to the abandoned factory, worry was etched on the faces of the four.
"This time, the kitten managed to divert them, but we might not be so lucky next time," Lin Yi said anxiously.
Lin Yuxin held the kitten tightly, her eyes filled with gratitude. "The kitten is so brave, but we can't keep relying on it."
Xiao Chen frowned as he paced back and forth in the room. "We need to come up with a more long-term solution; we can't always be on the defensive."
Lin Yuhan bit her lip, pondering for a moment before suggesting, "What if we take the initiative? Find the mysterious man and negotiate with him."
"Negotiate? That's too risky," Lin Yi immediately countered. "The mysterious man is ruthless; how could we possibly negotiate with him?"
"But if we keep hiding like this, it's not a solution either," Lin Yuhan insisted.
As they continued to argue, Xiao Chen suddenly stopped in his tracks. "Wait, I have an idea. We can use the mysterious man's obsession with the documents to set a trap."
"A trap? How do we set it?" Lin Yuxin asked curiously.
Xiao Chen explained slowly, "We can spread the word that we know the exact location of the documents and lure the mysterious man to a place we've prepared in advance. There, we can team up with our friends and take him down all at once."
Everyone fell silent for a moment before Lin Yuhan spoke up first. "This plan sounds good, but what if the mysterious man doesn't fall for it?"
Xiao Chen thought for a moment and replied, "We can create some false leads to make him believe we really have crucial information about the documents. Plus, we need to make him feel that if he doesn't act quickly, the documents will fall into someone else's hands."
After some discussion, they decided to take the risk. The four began meticulously planning this trap, searching for suitable locations and preparing various props.
Throughout this process, they remained vigilant, fearing discovery by the mysterious man's subordinates. Finally, they found an abandoned warehouse—its remote location and complex surroundings made it ideal for setting a trap.
They set up various mechanisms and traps inside the warehouse, with Xiao Chen responsible for spreading the word. He carefully left hints about the document's location in places where the mysterious man might notice.
Once the message was sent out, they anxiously awaited the mysterious man's response. Time ticked by slowly; every minute felt particularly long.

As the figure came into focus, it turned out not to be the mysterious man but rather an unfamiliar face. The group's tension eased slightly but quickly returned as they remained cautious.
"Who are you?" Lin Yi demanded sharply.
The stranger raised both hands in a gesture of peace. "Don't be alarmed; I'm here to help. I've heard about your situation with the mysterious man and thought you could use some assistance."
Lin Yuxin furrowed her brow, expressing her disbelief. "Why do you want to help us? How can we trust you?"
The stranger smiled slightly. "I have been persecuted by the mysterious man myself; I know how cruel his methods can be. I want to join you in defeating him and avenge myself."
Xiao Chen hesitated before speaking up. "We can't trust him easily. What if he's an undercover agent sent by the mysterious man?"
The stranger quickly replied, "I am not an undercover agent. I can prove myself. I know some of the mysterious man's weaknesses and secrets that could help you."
The group exchanged glances, uncertain about what to do. Just then, Lin Yuhan suggested, "We can observe him for a while. If he truly intends to help us, we can consider accepting his assistance."
The others agreed that this was a good idea, deciding to let the stranger stay for now while remaining vigilant.
Understanding their concerns, the stranger began actively helping set traps and provided useful information about the mysterious man. However, unbeknownst to them, the mysterious man had already sensed their plans. His subordinates were secretly monitoring their every move and reporting back to him.
With a cold smirk, the mysterious man said, "Hmph, they think they can set traps for me? It won't be that easy." He began plotting his counterattack, preparing to deliver a heavy blow to them.
As time passed in this tense atmosphere, they remained unaware of when the mysterious man would appear or whether their traps would succeed. Each person silently prayed for the crisis to end soon.
Days went by, and under their watchful eyes, the stranger remained proactive. He not only reinforced the traps but also provided insights into the mysterious man's possible routes and habits.
"I think this person might really be here to help us," Lin Yuxin whispered to the others as she watched the stranger busy at work.
Lin Yi maintained his vigilance. "We still can't let our guard down; this could all be an act."
Xiao Chen nodded in agreement. "Exactly. We need to keep observing him and see what his true intentions are."
At that moment, the stranger approached them. "I just thought of a way to make our trap even better." He began detailing his ideas.
After listening, everyone fell into deep thought. Lin Yuhan remarked, "This plan sounds good, but could it carry risks?"
The stranger replied earnestly, "Every plan has risks, but if we don't try, we'll never have a chance to defeat the mysterious man."
After some discussion, they decided to adopt the stranger's suggestions and further improve their traps.
Meanwhile, the mysterious man was also busy planning his counterattack. He gathered his most trusted subordinates and said, "They think they can set traps for me; I will show them my power."
He decided to send an Advance Team to test their traps. This team cautiously approached the abandoned warehouse, remaining alert for any potential dangers.
As the Advance Team neared the warehouse, they triggered some minor traps. They immediately halted and began carefully inspecting for more traps.
"It seems they really have set traps," said the team leader of the Advance Team. "We need to proceed with caution; we can't fall into their scheme."
They advanced slowly, trying to find any vulnerabilities in the traps while inside the warehouse, everyone observed their every move through hidden cameras.
"They are very cautious," Lin Yi said. "Can our traps hold them?"
Xiao Chen stared intently at the screen. "We don't know yet, but we need to be prepared to respond to their attacks at any moment."
The Advance Team struggled through the traps, getting closer to the core area of the warehouse. The tension among everyone grew as they remained uncertain about how this battle would unfold.
