A car was a precious thing, and the neighbors' eyes sparkled with envy and happiness for Su Mingxian. "Xiao Su, who would have thought your husband was so wealthy? And he's handsome too; you're truly fortunate!"
"That's right! Such a good man, Xiao Su, you should cherish him. Don't let those young girls outside take advantage of him!"
Fat Aunt and the neighbors all cautioned her repeatedly, fearing that Shen Chi might be lured away by some vixen.
Su Mingxian felt somewhat awkward. She glanced at Shen Chi, who was leaning against the car door, smoking with his head down. Embarrassed, she said, "Fat Aunt, I know."
"Hey now, you’ve already had two kids! What’s there to be shy about? Remember what Fat Aunt told you!" She then took Su Mingxian's hand and added, "And about divorce—don’t even think about it! A man like this is hard to find; have you lost your mind? Don’t fall for Wang Fang's tricks!"
After saying this, she playfully tapped Su Mingxian on the head. Su Mingxian felt flustered; Fat Aunt's voice was loud, and she wondered if Shen Chi could hear. Quickly, she pulled Fat Aunt aside. "Fat Aunt, I really know! You can rest easy."
Su Mingxian said it casually, but deep down, she didn't care at all. Let them do as they please; after all, she was about to get a divorce, so it was none of her business.
However, Fat Aunt remained worried. "Xiao Su, don’t think I’m nagging you for no reason. I’m doing this for your own good. That guy named Huang is decent-looking and knows how to make women happy, but no matter how good he is, he can't compare to Xiao Shen. Besides, you have two children to think about. You mustn't act impulsively and make a foolish mistake."
Upon hearing this, Su Mingxian's face turned green with anger. It was better not to mention it; once it was brought up, she felt a surge of hatred. That damn brat couldn't do anything right; he had ruined her reputation.
Just as they were talking about him, Huangpu River appeared out of nowhere.
Having spent the night studying strategies at home, his eyes lit up when he saw Shen Chi—more so than when he saw Su Mingxian.
"Sister Xian, I'm here—" he exclaimed with a warm expression, as if he hadn’t told her to get lost just yesterday.
His voice was loud enough to draw everyone's attention. Huangpu River had a handsome face and charming peach blossom eyes that made him irresistible to women of all ages.
His bright yellow T-shirt was eye-catching, but as he ran past Shen Chi, he suddenly tripped and fell flat on his face.
"Ouch." Huangpu River immediately hugged his knees, looking up at Shen Chi with a pained expression. "Did you just trip me? Was that on purpose?"
Shen Chi was smoking and looked momentarily taken aback before his expression turned cold.
"What are you staring at?" Huangpu River snapped back, then stepped back in fear. "What do you want? Are you going to hit me?"
Shen Chi: ???
What the hell is going on? Is this some kind of self-directed play? It looks quite realistic.
Shen Chi Yi was a bit dazed at first, but he quickly remembered that the person in front of him was accusing him falsely, and his eyes narrowed immediately.
