What a car accident scene this is!
Fang Dahai was practically grinding his teeth at Huangpu River. He used to admire this guy, thinking he was adaptable and resourceful, but who would have thought that today he would end up being the one on the receiving end of a betrayal?

Fang Dahai, feeling disgruntled, started picking a fight over drinks.

As soon as those words left his mouth, Shen Chi's expression turned icy, and Su Mingxian couldn't help but twitch her lips, casually shoving a skewer of meat toward him. "Just say less."
This troublemaker was really getting on his nerves.

Shen Chi's face was as dark as water, and Wang Daguo hurriedly shoved his entire skewer of meat toward him. "Here, take it all."
Meanwhile, Fang Dahai gritted his teeth and threw an arm over Wang Daguo's shoulder. "Brother, I need to talk to you. Come on, let's chat."

"Literally speaking," Xi Shanshan said, crossing her arms and tilting her chin. "Aren't you unwilling as well? Perfect, let's part ways. Let him go."
Fang Dahai gritted his teeth. "Xi Shanshan, don't regret this. Think about how you'll pass your assessment at the end of the year. If you fail, your the Xi Family branch—"
Before he could finish, Xi Shanshan raised her chin defiantly. "You don't need to worry about that. As of today, I have officially become Sister Xian's partner. Hmph, I don't need your help."
Fang Dahai was taken aback. "Are you crazy?"
"I'm not crazy. You don't look down on Sister Xian, do you? Do you think she can't make that much money?" She turned to call out, "Sister Xian—"
But she was immediately silenced by Fang Dahai covering her mouth.
"Mmm mmm mmm—"
Meanwhile, Brother Fang hurriedly smiled at Su Mingxian. "I absolutely didn't mean that, not at all."

Amid the chaos, Shen Chi suddenly spoke up coolly.
"I want in too."
With that, he fixed his dark, ink-like gaze on them.

Someone remained silent, coldly staring at her. Su Mingxian felt a chill run down her spine under his gaze and weakly picked up a skewer of lamb. “This?”
Then, the person slightly parted his lips, his expression conveying unspoken words.
Instinctively, Su Mingxian handed over the lamb skewer. Everyone was stunned, mouths agape as they watched. The entire terrace was filled with the night breeze and the sound of someone coldly chewing on the lamb skewer.
Others might have let it slide, but upon seeing this, Huangpu River immediately chimed in, “Sister Xian, I want one too.”
“Shut up.”
Su Mingxian shot him a fierce glare; this guy was simply a troublemaker.
The others exchanged glances, especially Fang Dahai, who swallowed hard. Brother Chi Zi was impressive!
After finishing one skewer, Shen Chi coughed lightly into his fist and glanced toward the roasted whole lamb in the center of the table.
Su Mingxian stared at him in confusion, wondering what had gotten into him today.
Suddenly, Xi Shanshan laughed and leaned in closer to whisper, “He wants to eat the whole lamb; why don’t you hurry up and cut him a piece?”
