That night, I was entangled with Yu Cheng. Just as I was about to respond to his affectionate gestures, I suddenly sensed that the protective barrier of the Fox Clan had been breached. Someone had collaborated from within and broken the barrier!
"Yu Cheng, come with me!" I quickly pushed him away and dashed out of the room. At that moment, the Fox Clan was already under attack by magical beasts.

"My family separated from me to divert the magical beasts." I handed her over to Yu Cheng and instructed him to take her to find her family.
Along the way, we encountered numerous magical beasts. Gradually, I began to feel exhausted. However, my efforts were not in vain. I saved hundreds of foxes, who expressed their gratitude and vowed to follow me from now on.
Following the directions of the young fox, I found her family. Just as I was about to breathe a sigh of relief, a cold light flashed before me. A sword pierced through my chest.
In disbelief, I turned around and saw Hong Qiao's face.
"Sister, you..." She wore a triumphant smile on her face.
“Hong Jiao, this time you're finished!”
“From now on, I am the heir of the Fox Clan!”
I looked at her in disbelief.
“It’s you!”
“You deliberately broke the seal of the Fox Clan!”
She laughed heartily.
“So what if it’s me?”
“Who told you to oppose me at every turn?”

My mother stood behind her, her gaze filled with coldness.
“Hong Jiao, don’t blame your mother for being ruthless.”

“Mother, what should we do now?”
My mother smiled coldly.
“It doesn’t matter; as long as Hong Jiao is dead.”
"He has run away; we can take our time to search for him."
"The urgent matter is to kill Hong Jiao and eliminate future threats!"
Hong Qiao nodded, drawing her long sword and stabbing me several more times.
"Hong Jiao, what gives you the right to obstruct my path to becoming the heir?"
"You wretched woman, die!"
"Do you know? That useless Ren Fei has already lost his life to me. I had him test the waters for you!"
"Now I will send you down."
My consciousness was fading.
Before I died, I found it all so ironic.
"Hong Qiao, do you know why I am the heir yet my spiritual power is so limited?"

"Only when you die can I reclaim that power."
"But you should never have undone the Fox Clan's restrictions and harmed our kin."

Hong Qiao's face changed dramatically.
"It’s impossible; you’re lying to me!"
I forced a bitter smile.
"When a person is about to die, their words carry truth."
"Hong Qiao, our grievances should not involve others."
"You have committed too many wrongs; retribution will come!"
She trembled with rage.
"Shut your mouth!"
"I will kill you!"
In a frenzy, she plunged the sword into my body.
Blood stained my clothes.
My consciousness grew increasingly hazy. Eventually, I collapsed helplessly to the ground. Hong Qiao had personally killed me and undone the seal on my divine power. Soon, her strength would be reclaimed by me. Whether she could survive the beasts depended on her own fate.
I was dead. The blade had sliced through my body, erupting in a dazzling red light. Hong Qiao, in terror, realized she could no longer move. "Mother, save me!" she cried, panic filling her eyes as her spiritual energy drained away.
Mother wanted to save her, but as soon as she acted, she was met with divine retribution. Thunder roared down, obliterating Mother’s soul. With her death, Hong Qiao lost her spiritual power and became an ordinary member of the Fox Clan.
As divine power surged within me, I numbly rose and left. "Sister, don’t go! Save me!" she pleaded. "I was wrong; I truly understand my mistakes!" Hong Qiao begged for mercy. But I did not soften.
In the next moment, she was struck by a beast and died tragically on the spot. I drove away all the beasts and reestablished order within the Fox Clan. My clansmen regarded me with immense respect, kneeling before me in gratitude.
"Second Princess, thank you for saving our lives!" one said. "We will never forget your great kindness!" The young fox also approached me. "Second Princess, thank you for saving me!" Even those who had once looked down on me knelt before me. "Second Princess, we were wrong!"
"From now on, if you guide us east, we will never go west!"
I smiled.
"I have decided to bestow the crown of the heir of the Fox Clan upon Lin Wan."
Lin Wan is a warrior of the Fox Clan. She is powerful and saved countless clan members during the recent battle. Therefore, no one is more suitable to be the heir than her.
"Thank you, Second Princess!"
Lin Wan accepted the crown with both hands and knelt before me on one knee.
"I will not let you down and will ensure the Fox Clan thrives!"
I nodded.

After Lin Wan became the heir, I retreated to my cave for seclusion. I devoted myself to cultivation, and before long, I ascended to become a deity.
The clan members were reluctant to part with me.

Beside me was Yu Cheng, who had officially transformed into a Nine-Tails white fox.
