My family was saved by the Master of the Valley in " valley." My Sister and I had lived in the valley since we were young, but suddenly, she died. The Master told me that my parents were responsible for her death and that they intended to harm me as well. But I knew that none of them were innocent. I would use them to nourish the trees. 0

Lingquan Valley was dense with trees, and the sound of countless birds filled the air. In the valley stood a large tree, heavy with fruit. Among them, one fruit was oddly shaped, resembling a decaying hand. As I approached, I noticed that the "hand" seemed to move slightly. The fingers curled slightly, and the palm was rotting, revealing white bones adorned with a Wood Bracelet. That was a Wood Bracelet I had made with my own hands; it belonged to my Sister. 0

I stumbled back in terror, crashing into another tree. To my shock, a crack appeared on its trunk. From within that crack emerged an arm. Panic surged through me as I flailed about, colliding with another tree. A crack formed there too, revealing half of a Body. 0

I completely broke down. Grabbing a stick from the ground, I began to strike wildly, causing cracks to appear on all the surrounding trunks. From those fissures emerged decaying hands, half a Body, severed legs, and Skulls. These dozen or so trees were hiding the remains of my Sister! 0

I let out a furious roar and lunged forward, trying to push the tree down. As soon as I touched the trunk, the flowers on it burst into bloom all at once. 0

In the center, a gigantic eye appeared, its mouth spitting out a long tongue that hissed ominously. The branches of the tree slithered toward me like snakes. 0

I was frozen in fear, helplessly watching as they crawled over my body. Some flowers clamped onto my clothes, others tangled in my hair, and a few even crawled onto my face. 0

"Abomination!" 0

With a sharp command, the valley master appeared before me, striking the strange flowers with her staff. They recoiled instantly. 0

She took out a piece of cloth and wrapped it around my injured hand, causing the flowers to return to their normal appearance. My heart raced as I hid behind the valley master, too scared to come out. 0

"Don't be afraid; they can't hurt you," she said, patting my back to comfort me. 0

I grasped her arm tightly, gazing at the trees. "Master, what are these trees? Why is my Sister inside them?" 0

The valley master didn't answer my question; instead, she began to gather the severed hands and feet scattered on the ground. I placed one of the severed hands into her palm, and her expression changed dramatically. "They actually used your Sister's life to nourish the Tree Spirit." 0

My face went pale, and I felt as if I had been plunged into an ice cave. 0

"That's right; they are using your Sister to nourish the Tree Spirit." 0

The valley master's face grew serious as she pulled me closer. I stumbled to my feet, clenching my fists tightly. 0

"Why did my sister have to nourish the Tree Spirit?" I looked at her, hoping for an answer. After all, I had grown up in this valley; my parents had been saved by the valley master, who had taught me some cultivation techniques since childhood—she was like family to me. 0

She gently patted my head. "Child, don't be afraid; I will help you." 0

"As for these..." 0

The valley master raised her staff and struck it against a nearby tree that showed no cracks. 0

The trunk cracked loudly, revealing a severed arm inside. 0
"These are the remains of your Sister." 0
I shook my head, still unable to believe what I was seeing. "No, no, how could this be?" 0
"Why is this happening?" 0
"Why is it Sister?" 0
The Valley Master sighed helplessly. 0
Suddenly, as if sensing some disturbance, the Valley Master vanished from the valley in an instant. 0
