At the moment when the red light shot up into the sky, Chu Sheng's eyes suddenly sharpened, like a hawk locking onto its prey. He could sense the murderous aura surging toward him like a tidal wave, growing closer and clearer. The air was thick with a stench of blood, heralding an impending fierce battle.

The principal, a seasoned veteran of many battles, reacted swiftly and immediately organized the students to evacuate. Although the crowd in the arena was in a panic, like ants on a hot pan, chaotic and disordered, under the guidance of Chu Sheng and the principal, order gradually returned as they began to retreat in an orderly fashion toward the underground training ground.
At that moment, a deafening crash echoed like thunder on a clear day, sending chills through everyone's hearts. The eastern wall of the school collapsed with a roar, dust swirling and debris flying as if the apocalypse had arrived. A dozen shadowy figures emerged from the smoke like ghosts, charging toward the crowd with astonishing speed, resembling hungry wolves on the hunt.

Several teachers rushed forward with fierce determination, embodying the spirit of tigers descending from the mountains, unafraid and resolute. They understood their duty was to protect the students, even at the cost of their own lives.

Lin Yue wanted to argue further but seeing Chu Sheng's resolute gaze—unyielding as a rock—she finally nodded reluctantly. "You must survive! I'll be waiting for your return!"
With that, she led a group of students toward the western passage like a tide retreating into the night.
Chu Sheng turned around, his gaze piercing as he fixed his eyes on those shadowy figures like prey in his sights. In the dim moonlight, he could clearly see that each of them bore the emblem of Heishan sect on their chests, exuding a nauseating aura like venomous snakes' tongues.
"Ha, so it’s really you," Chu Sheng sneered coldly, his tone laced with disdain. "You’re so eager to take my life? You truly overestimate yourselves."
The leader among them was burly and towering like an iron tower, wearing a sinister grin that was terrifying as an Evil Spirit. "You little bastard, do you really think you can survive against us with your meager strength? You’re dreaming!"
"Let’s find out," Chu Sheng replied as cold light flashed in his eyes like a sword drawn from its sheath. His Merit Power erupted within him like a volcanic explosion, filling him with immense strength.

In an instant, lightning flashed and crackled, illuminating the night sky like dancing silver serpents. Chu Sheng's figure darted out like a bolt of lightning, moving so swiftly that it was nearly impossible to see. He launched a punch at the nearest enemy, striking with the force of a cannonball. Before he could finish speaking, over a dozen Evil Energy Orbs erupted simultaneously, bursting forth like fireworks. In the blinding red light, the members of Heishan sect felt their power surge dramatically, their eyes turning bloodshot as they charged at Chu Sheng like ravenous wolves.

A heavy feeling settled in Chu Sheng's heart, as if he were plummeting into an abyss. He knew that this was something even more terrifying than the Evil Energy Orb—the Demon God Pearl!

But it was too late. The dark orb glimmered under the moonlight with an eerie glow, resembling the eyes of a devil. A wave of dread enveloped the entire campus in an instant, as if the Grim Reaper had arrived, sending chills down everyone's spine.
"Chu Sheng, retreat!" the principal shouted urgently, his voice filled with anxiety and concern. "This power is too dangerous! You can't withstand it!"
Yet Chu Sheng fixed his gaze on that orb, seemingly entranced. A glimmer of determination flashed in his eyes; he was like a moth drawn to flame, resolute and unhesitating. He knew that if he allowed the enemy to fully activate the Demon God Pearl, not only would he perish, but the entire school would suffer!
"I'm all in!"
Chu Sheng gritted his teeth as if making a life-or-death decision, preparing to burn his Merit Points as if sacrificing his own life. Just at that critical moment, a silver light suddenly descended from the sky!
