It was truly mesmerizing, wasn't it?
Those enchanting eyes seemed to hold endless allure, capable of captivating one's soul with just a glance. Her flowing long hair, smooth and silky, danced gently in the breeze as if whispering mysterious tales. And that partially open neckline, subtly revealing a well-defined chest, exuded an indescribable temptation...
It was simply too, too... too enticing!
Her slender fingers glided lightly across the seven-inch wide iPad, as images of the alluring photos from "Dragon Gate Fly Armor" flashed one after another. Luo Fini's heart surged like waves on a lake, rippling with excitement.
"Director?"
"Director!"
"Director!"
"Huh?" Luo Fini snapped back to reality, suddenly aware that she was being closely watched by everyone in the room.
Oh no! She completely forgot it was working hours, and here she was, the newly appointed head of the Human Resources Department, in the middle of interviewing candidates.
This was all her older brother, the infuriating general manager's fault. He insisted that this recruitment fair was a crucial event for the company, one that would determine its future direction. He needed his trusted little sister to oversee it before he felt comfortable going on his business trip.
Now, after being flattered into a daze and feeling quite pleased with herself, she found herself facing a steady stream of candidates pouring in. Luo Fini felt a wave of helplessness wash over her.
Nervousness made her stutter even during self-introductions; arrogance had some with their noses in the air, as if the whole world should revolve around them; there were those with slick tongues that made her skin crawl, every word dripping with insincerity; and then there were the ones who pretended to understand, clearly clueless yet putting on a facade of knowledge. She could only force a smile on her face, striving to appear calm, while inside, her mind raced like a wild horse, desperately needing to find solace in the beauty of the Supervisor.
Brother bastard! This dreadful task of interviewing was not meant for humans!
Luo Fini, in her agitation, accidentally snapped the pencil she was gripping tightly. Noticing this, someone beside her quickly asked with concern, “Director, are you okay?”
“Good! Very good!” She gritted her teeth and squeezed those words out through clenched jaws.
“If your health… is fine, please start asking questions!” One of the applicants spoke up, his gaze leering as it swept over her body, lingering intentionally for a second too long on her chest.
Did he not know that flat-chested women were once angels with broken wings?
The words "failed the interview" rolled around in her throat, ready to burst out at that moment when Luo Fini suddenly felt as if she had discovered a new continent.
Oh? The upward-turned single phoenix eyes, slightly raised at the corners, exuded a unique charm—very alluring!
Oh? The tightly pressed thin lips, beautifully contoured, radiated a sense of determination and were quite sexy too!
Oh? His features combined made him almost as handsome as the Supervisor!
But why did she feel he looked somewhat familiar?
Before Luo Fini could recall whether she had seen him before, she caught sight of him smiling slightly, his lips curving into an exquisitely beautiful arc.
Somehow, Luo Fini felt a sudden chill run down her scalp, causing her hair to stand on end.
Throughout her life, only one person could evoke such a feeling in her! He was—Luo Fini couldn't help but spring up, shouting loudly, "Zhu Xue!"
The words slipped out before she could think. But when Zhu Xue lazily replied with a "Here," she was so startled that she fell back into her chair, her iPad clattering to the ground with a loud thud, and the Supervisor's enchanting visage vanished in an instant.
Her iPad! Luo Fini felt a wave of grievance wash over her; she really wanted to burst into tears.
