As a bright light flashed, Yan Qing and his team were transported to the Alternate Space. 0

This was a Psychic Ability device developed by the Pacific Ability Federation, capable of teleporting within a certain range. It was surprising how generous the Pacific Ocean base was to spend so much for this exam. 0

As soon as they landed, a damp and dangerous aura rushed toward them. Surrounding them was a dense jungle, punctuated by strange calls echoing through the air. 0

Drui Feng clenched his fists nervously and said, "Everyone be careful; it feels very dangerous here." 0

Jiang Wenyu glanced at him dismissively; wasn't that obvious? Who wouldn't feel threatened in the wilderness? 0

Jiang Ming nodded and said quietly, "Let's find a safe place first and devise a battle plan." 0

Yan Qing exchanged glances with the others. "Right, now that we're all together, other teams must have been teleported here too. We need to eliminate others within a fixed time to earn points. Most likely, others will be hiding in the shadows at the start." 0

Drui Feng scoffed, "So how do we eliminate others? Are we supposed to play hide-and-seek first?" 0

Yan Qing chuckled lightly. "Of course not. If we go out looking for people first, we’ll fall into their trap." 0

Jiang Wenyu frowned. "That makes sense; teams that reveal themselves will undoubtedly be seen as easy targets by others. But if we follow your plan, are we just going to wait around?" 0

She looked at Yan Qing with curiosity. 0

A smirk appeared on Yan Qing's lips as he glanced at Jiang Ming behind her. "I already have a good strategy in mind." 0

Hearing this, everyone became interested and quickly asked, "What strategy?" 0

Yan Qing smiled mysteriously. 0

Above them, the lush branches blocked out most of the sunlight, allowing only a few beams to struggle through and land on the ground covered with fallen leaves and vines. The air was thick with dampness and decay, hiding countless unknown dangers in the darkness that seemed ready to spring forth at any moment. 0

Yan Qing, Jiang Ming, Drui Feng, and Jiang Wenyu cautiously made their way through the dense jungle. 0

With each step they took, the dry twigs beneath their feet would emit faint "crack" sounds, which echoed sharply in the stillness of the jungle. 0

Yan Qing scanned their surroundings warily, his ears attuned to any subtle movements, his nerves taut like a drawn bowstring. Jiang Ming closely followed behind him, his gaze occasionally falling on Yan Qing as if waiting for his instructions. Jiang Wenyu wore an indifferent expression; her cold eyes were alert, her hands slightly raised and ready to respond to any potential danger. Drui Feng appeared somewhat excited; his eyes sparkled with curiosity about everything around him, though he remained cautious. 0

Suddenly, with a thud, an equipment pack fell from above and landed heavily on the ground not far in front of them, kicking up a small cloud of dust. 0

The sudden commotion startled everyone, and they instinctively took defensive stances. After a moment, seeing that there were no further anomalies, Drui Feng couldn't contain his curiosity and dashed forward. 0

"Wow, look what I found!" Drui Feng exclaimed excitedly as he pulled an UZI submachine gun from his gear bag, waving it triumphantly in his hands. 0

He examined the magazine closely and discovered it was loaded with paint-marking bullets, which made his eyes sparkle even more. 0

"Haha, with this, who would dare to mess with us?" he said, striking various poses as if showing off, mimicking shooting sounds, "Da da da, watch me mark those sneaky bastards!" 0

Jiang Wenyu rolled her eyes at the sight and coldly remarked, "What time is it? Why are you still acting so childish?" 0

Drui Feng shrugged off her comment, still lost in his excitement. "You just don’t get it. This is a great find; it could be super useful in a critical moment. If someone gets marked with this paint, they're out of the game." 0

Ignoring Drui Feng's boasting, Jiang Ming crouched down to rummage through the gear bag. Soon, a look of surprise crossed his face. "There’s food and first-aid supplies here! What a stroke of luck." 0

He took out the food and medicine and distributed them among the group. "Everyone grab some energy and make sure to keep the medical supplies. We don’t know what dangers lie ahead." 0

Yan Qing accepted the food and medicine with a sigh of relief. "With these, our chances of surviving a prolonged battle in this jungle have increased. But we must remain vigilant; the appearance of this gear bag is too strange—there might be traps hidden nearby." 0

Upon hearing Yan Qing's words, everyone nodded in agreement. The brief sense of ease brought by the gear bag quickly turned serious again as they carefully scanned their surroundings and slowly moved deeper into the jungle. 0

Yan Qing led them cautiously into the depths of the jungle, every step filled with alertness. 0

Suddenly, a massive spider descended from a tree above them, launching a huge web in their direction. 0

"Whoa! That spider is huge!" Drui Feng shouted. 0

It was an Ability User's attack; these webs were venomous. Although fatalities were not allowed in the competition, they likely had paralyzing effects. If anyone got caught in them, there would be serious consequences. 0

Jiang Wenyu reacted swiftly; she waved her hands and conjured a wall of vines that blocked the spider's web. 0

"Everyone scatter and watch your surroundings!" Jiang Ming shouted loudly. 0

Just then, another gigantic spider dropped from a tree above them, spitting out another massive web. 0

"Whoa! That spider is huge!" Drui Feng yelled again. 0

This was no ordinary spider attack; it was the work of an Ability User. The webs were laced with venom, and although fatalities were not allowed in the competition, they likely carried a paralyzing effect. If anyone got caught, it would be a serious problem. 0

Jiang Wenyu reacted swiftly, waving her hands to conjure a wall of vines that appeared instantly, blocking the spider webs. The vines seemed alive, intertwining tightly together, resilient and thick, keeping the toxic webs at bay. 0

“Everyone spread out and watch your surroundings!” Jiang Ming shouted loudly. 0

Upon hearing his voice, the group quickly dispersed, each seeking a favorable position for defense. 0

However, the danger did not cease there. With a cacophony of caws, a flock of crows swooped down from the sky. These crows exuded an eerie aura, their eyes glinting with the unique light of an Ability User; they were summoned by the Crow Shaman for an attack. 0

At the same time, a Giant Frog leaped out from the grass, its bulging cheeks and long tongue signaling that it was not friendly either. 0

Without hesitation, Drui Feng raised the UZI submachine gun he had just picked up and opened fire on the flock of crows. Paint-marked bullets flew out, tracing colorful arcs through the air. 0

As he shot, he shouted loudly, “Come on! Watch me take down all you little black dots!” 0

Drui Feng's shooting seemed reckless, but each bullet carried his strength. The crows hit by his shots were splattered with paint; their wings became somewhat crooked after being stained but they continued to charge at them relentlessly. 0

Meanwhile, Jiang Wenyu remained focused, extending her vines. The summoned vines moved like agile arms, swiftly waving to block the Spider Esper's emitted Spider Silk time and again. 0

Every strand of Spider Silk that landed on the vines produced a faint hissing sound—the noise of venom corroding the vines. Jiang Wenyu showed no signs of retreating; she continuously summoned new vines to strengthen her defense. 0
