"Alright."
Jiang Ming replied softly, tucking his phone into his pocket, his gaze fixed intently on the man eating noodles, his eyes filled with vigilance, like a poised leopard ready to pounce.
After a while, the man finally finished his meal at a leisurely pace. He elegantly pulled out a napkin and gently wiped the corners of his mouth, the motion exuding an effortless grace.
Then, he smoothly retrieved his phone and slipped it into his pocket, casually strolling out of the Zhao Ji Noodle House as if nothing were amiss.
Standing at the entrance, he glanced around, his seemingly casual gaze sharp as an eagle's, as if confirming there were no suspicious individuals nearby. Once satisfied, he left without haste, his steps light and ghostly.
Jiang Ming kept his eyes glued to the entrance of the noodle shop. The moment the man stepped out, he reacted swiftly, turning away to feign interest in the street across.
Though Jiang Ming appeared calm, his heart was taut with tension, his peripheral vision keenly tracking the man's movements.
However, in just a brief moment of turning away, the man had already distanced himself like a runaway horse.
"It seems like he's a speed Ability User," Jiang Ming thought to himself, furrowing his brow slightly as a flicker of surprise crossed his eyes.
From the time he turned away to when he turned back, only three or four seconds had passed, yet that man had already dashed over fifty meters away like a gust of wind. If not for the extraordinary abilities of an Ability User, he would have completely lost sight of this mysterious man by now.
"Truly remarkable; such a small place as Z City has gathered so many Ability Users," Jiang Ming mused inwardly, a hint of seriousness replacing his previously calm demeanor. His gaze grew more resolute; he was determined to pursue this matter to the end.
