Chen Yuanwai was startled and rushed inside. What happened? Are there really monsters? His legs trembled with fear.
Upon entering, he discovered that the jar in front of Lao Shi was shattered into pieces. Lao Shi's face was pale as he looked at Chen Yuanwai, realizing that the ghosts I sent had been eliminated.

Lao Shi looked at the Black Snake floating before him in disbelief. "You... you aren't a monster?"
The Black Snake's eyes reflected disdain. "Don't compare me to those worthless creatures."
Lao Shi nodded, his head tilted, and he died.
Black Snake glanced at the two corpses in the room, then flicked his tail and circled around Chen Manor before finding another secret chamber. Inside were boxes filled with silver and a chest of gold ingots. Black Snake's eyes widened as he opened his mouth and swallowed all the gold and silver, then his body shrank and vanished into the chamber, leaving behind an empty space.
This was one of Black Snake's abilities; his stomach contained a space that could hold quite a lot. It was roughly the size of ten rooms, but unfortunately, anything stored inside would disappear, and it was unclear whether it was lost during the process of crossing over.
Qin Feng opened his eyes to find Black Snake appearing in his hand. He usually refrained from using Black Snake for killing and looting, but if his life was at stake, he wouldn't show mercy.
The next day, news of Chen Yuanwai's murder spread throughout the city. After all, he was no ordinary person. The County Magistrate even came to investigate personally but found nothing amiss. Qin Feng heard the news outside but didn't take it to heart. No one would suspect him, a mere Xiu Cai with no ability to harm a chicken, which was precisely why he had killed at night.
