"I can't eat anymore," Lin Yue said, rubbing her protruding belly. She really couldn't take another bite. 0

Looking at the leftover seafood on the table, the two of them decided to pack it up for a late-night snack. Wasting food was shameful! After all, it cost money! 0

Early in the morning, Sang Yu was woken up by Lin Yue's call. Seeing that it was a video call from Lin Yue, she answered it casually. "Hello, Sang Sang, where are you?" 0

"I'm right here." 0

"You haven't gotten up yet? It's past eight; you should be awake by now!" 0

"Oh, I'm getting up now." After hanging up the video call, Sang Yu lay in bed for a few more minutes before finally getting up. With bleary eyes, she stumbled to the bathroom and splashed some water on her face to fully wake herself up. She had trouble sleeping last night and only fell asleep around one in the morning. 0

After quickly washing up and putting on light makeup, she packed her swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen into her bag before heading out to meet Lin Yue. 0

The hotel they booked included breakfast, so they went to the restaurant together. Seeing that many people were already having breakfast, Sang Yu thought to herself that she must not have woken up too late. 0

The hotel breakfast was abundant, but Sang Yu found herself in a dilemma; there were too many things she wanted to eat, yet her stomach wasn't cooperating. Standing in front of the dumplings, she hesitated over whether to take some or not. She already had plenty of food on her plate and feared that taking more would lead to waste. Just then, she caught sight of Lu Jingzhi walking in and widened her eyes in disbelief, blinking hard to confirm that he was really there—no illusion after all. 0

She quickly lowered her head and turned away. What kind of terrible luck was this? Why had she run into him again just a week later, and in a different city no less? 0

Sang Yu felt exasperated; she had lost her appetite for dumplings and chose a secluded corner to sit down. 0

"Why did you come all the way over here?" Lin Yue asked, puzzled by her friend's behavior. There were plenty of empty seats over there; why sit in such a remote corner? It took her quite some time to find this spot. 0

"Um, it's quieter here." 0

Lin Yue glanced around. Quieter? She didn't see it that way. 0

"Sang Sang, why are you eating so fast? We're not in a hurry," Lin Yue remarked as she noticed Sang Yu's anxiousness. Her friend seemed a bit off today. 0

"How can I not be in a hurry? It's almost nine o'clock! Hurry up and eat!" How could she not be anxious? That person was sitting not far from her; she felt frantic. 0

"Oh," Lin Yue replied. 0

Lu Jingzhi was discussing today's important matters with his assistant when he suddenly spotted a woman walking out of the restaurant. Was that Sang Yu? 0

He couldn't help but chuckle at himself; what was he thinking? It seemed he had been a bit obsessed lately—how could Sang Yu possibly be here? 0

Sang Yu changed into her swimsuit, which was a conservative black one-piece. 0

"Sang Sang, why are you wearing such a conservative swimsuit? You're hiding your great figure! I have two bikinis at my hotel; I'll give you one." Their figures were quite similar, so Sang Yu could definitely pull it off. 0

Sang Yu looked at her friend in the bikini and quickly shook her head, refusing. "No thanks, you keep it for yourself. I probably won't get used to those two pieces of fabric anyway." 0

"Hey, I spent a long time picking those out from abroad! You really have no taste," her friend replied. 0

"Come on, help me apply some sunscreen on my back." Sang Yu handed the sunscreen to Lin Yue, as the back of her swimsuit revealed a small patch of skin that she couldn't reach. 0

As Lin Yue's hands glided over the smooth skin, she couldn't help but exclaim, "Sang Sang, your future husband is going to be so lucky! Just look at this skin—so fair, so smooth, so soft, and so tempting!" 0

"Stop!" Sang Yu interrupted, her face turning crimson as she felt embarrassed by the compliment. 0
